一.托福口语基本功要过关

其实这一点并没有很难,简单来说,首先,语法方面保证三点不能有过多的错误,如时态,人称,还有就是单复数搭配。这些对于考试来讲是再基础不过的了,我们要在这些小细节上面做到熟练不出错,才能保证成绩。练习方法其实也不是很难,将自己每天背诵的单词进行造句练习,简单句即可。比如,单词establish有“建立,成立”的含义,那么我们便可以造句,my uncle established the company two years ago. 句子简单,而且还能练习我们的时态,当然我们还可以进行self-talk, 比如I’m living in a house which was established by my grandfather, it’s huge and cozy, I’d love to live there.等等,其实我们可以经常这样自己做一些练习。当然可以进行录音,方便自己回听的时候挑出自己的错误,这样的练习将非常有效。

二.如何通过美剧和演讲提升托福口语

1.看美剧提升

美剧这个东西是一个很不错的练习材料,当然我们要挑选出一些适当的内容来让自己去听,去理解并尝试去复述出来,因为我们口语T3-6将会考查我们的复述能力,没错,不需要字字句句一模一样,而是求表达内容思想一致。推荐美剧community,咋看这部剧有些无厘头,而其实每一集都是一个发生在美国社区大学的小故事,主人公之间表达内容比较生活化,方便我们积累和记忆,同样,每一集故事比较简单,我们可以看完之后用自己的话,当然是英文来进行总结和复述。相信我,这个练习方法也会使得你在说话方便更加有信心。当然,对于喜欢运动的男生来说,推荐美剧ballers,剧情更加简单直接,但是生活化的台词,以及偶像巨石强森的出演,让你练习时能更加有意思有动力。

2.听演讲

没错,我已经很直白的将内容告诉大家了,每周至少听一次TED, 因为每次演讲时间不会太长,我们的压力不会过大,而且里面的lecture比较能锻炼我们听内容时抓结构的能力,让我们之后复述能更加清晰地来进行练习。这样的练习对于我们T4-6也会有所帮助。建议把一篇lecture反复来练习,前几遍主要去听抓结构,后面进行复述练习效果更好。

托福口语是为了测试大家的口语水平,而大家真正应该做的是提升英语口语的表达能力。其实美剧和演讲对大家托福口语提升是有帮助的,只不过大家在看和听的时候都太过关注字幕和剧情,没有去做复述和跟读,补上这个复述环节,大家就可以通过美剧和演讲提升托福口语水平了。

Well, frankly, people get disappointed since we all have expectation for our friends. I usually use my emotional intelligence to analyze the situation, and solve the conflict accordingly. After that, I get angry and really disappointed, but later, I realized the real cause of my anger was not about which movie to watch, and the real cause was that I have lots assignment due next week, and I couldn't stand that pressure, so I apologized to my friend, and we are still friends now

I was persuades by him to do the task which turned to be an extremely difficult thing to do. I freaked out when stuck in the gap. And we were scolded by doing that. 想要通过唱歌练好口语,

需要注意的是:

1.语音的练习

我们只有知道具体要练的是哪里,在听歌学歌的时候才能更有侧重点。

语音练习分为两步:

第一步是要知道单词的正确发音,知道每个元音和辅音的正确读法以及单词的重音位置。

第二步是要学习连读、弱读等发音规律,让单词之间更流畅。还能帮助同学在听力中更好的理解里面的连读现象~

2.语言的扩展

歌词一般都是来源于生活的简短口语,有些歌词的语法点会更加独特,再者还有习语俚语谚语,这些都可以作为重点表达的切入点,扩展出更多的相关知识。

举个例子,

One republic的《apologize》中有一句话:

It's* too late to apologize.(too.. to...结构)

现在道歉已经太迟了。

再举个例子,

Lenka的《The Show》中:

I can't figure it out .

我不知道该怎么办。

具体怎么操作?

Step 1选歌慎重

必须根据自己的口语水平和歌曲的质量来择优选择!

比如:口语水平一般就不要选rap,因为语速太快,而且有很多黑人俚语,并不属于常用语。

这时我们比较好的选择是流行歌曲,不妨从Billboard这样的榜单上找。

榜单上的歌曲不但当年风靡歌坛,更是有着简单生活化的歌词,非常适合练习口语。

还有一点是歌的质量。优质的歌曲中才会有得体的口语表达方式~

还需要注意的是,大家在学英文歌之前可以先根据语音现象和发音技巧把歌词读熟,然后再试着唱出来。

学歌各有各的方法,有的人喜欢不断的听,有的一段一段模仿,还有的人直接念歌词……但不管什么方式,都要注意我们上面说的“语音的练习”和“语言的扩展”。
