篇3：美国商学院申请面试形式

商学院的面试方式主要有三种：

1. Admission Faculty的face to face面试。

类似MIT Sloan、哥大等这些财富类院校，通常都会在每年1月前后的时间，来华“玩耍”。届时举办研究生的面试工作。接到邀请的学生，很可能需要飞到北京、上海的等地方，提前做好准备。直接面试的时间长度一般从15分钟到35分钟不等，一个学生面对一个或者几个教授。

2. 校友face to face面试。

有的学校会帮你安排，如Chicago GSB。有的学校是让你自己联系，如SUNY系列的学校等等。大部分校友是非常友善的，大家围坐在一桌，面试气氛会比较轻松，有利于你的发挥。如果能得到校友的认可和帮助，会对申请过程很有利。时间长度不定，有机会尽量多聊聊。

3. 电话、Skype面试。

一般由Admission Faculty或者Staff进行。时间长度一般在15分钟到45分钟。各个学校常常派出面试中国的招生官，在论坛上都已经被细致的讨论过了。

商科的学生面试，不管哪种方式，学校想要了解的东西是一样的，包括申请人的Public Speaking、Logical Reasoning、Leadership、Teamwork Spirit、Decision Making、Analytical Skills等等基本素质。面试是录取过程中一个主要的判断指标和预测工具。

商科面试的基本构成为：

商科学生的自我介绍很重要。对自己过去的工作学习总结、归纳。因为自我称述中提到的细节，都会被面试官追问的。如参与过证券投资分析项目的学生，在风险管理专业面试时被问到“你在风险投资项目中遇到的Challenge是什么?”如果回答得很琐碎、对相关知识的归纳少、系统性不强，是不能令考官满意的。

对要申请的学校，做好功课。不要选择千篇一律的答案!面试的时候，教授听过太多“官方回复”。所以被问到why MBA(Finance, Accounting, etc.), why ××× University的时候，一定要表现出该学校、该项目能给自己带来的价值。

对自己的未来要做好规划。对自己没有客观评价，说到将来都是想去大的跨国公司、去投资银行。事实上，美国的投行并不是很好就业。对自己了解不足，目标不切合实际的学生将在面试中往往被淘汰。

经历和能力。将自己的经历成系统的总结出来，并且注重其中自己个人特质的体现。把一些常见的问题都准备一遍，比如leadership, teamwork等等。结合自己的情况和这些商学院注重的品质，总结出适合自己的答案。

面试回答问题要简洁，如果面试官想知道更详细的情况，他会追问的。尽量让面试成为interaction or discussion，不要机械地只是回答问题。也可以在回答问题的同时，问一些面试官可能会有兴趣的问题(事前尽可能了解一下面试官的背景)。关键是让对方觉得你很有communicational skills。

另外，商科面试时要注重外在形象。面试时就应该考虑到自己的形象问题。有的人穿着T恤来面试，或者不注意自己的视频面试的周围环境(切记不要选人多嘈杂的环境)。面试切记与人交谈的方式等，举手投足都必须“职业化”，商学院不会愿意招收不注重自我形象的学生。

电话面试技巧

在电话面试之前，学校会事先用e-mail和你确定时间，你应该准备充分，但不要忘了中美之间的时差，准确计算好时间，即使教授迟到也要耐心等待。面试中的主要问题大多有关研究兴趣（research interest），研究背景（research background），教学经验（teaching experience），所学课程的名称（the names of your courses），个人兴趣（individual interests）等等。

把教授可能提的问题列出来，并写出答案，反复练习。可以找个老外请教，他可能会给你出谋划策，也帮你练练口语。多准备一些专业问题。一般申请RA，肯定会问一些专业问题，如要求的一些基础理论和基本技术，以及具体的技术。另外需准备一些向教授的提问，例如该学校的气候（climate），生活环境（living environment），学费（tuition）和奖学金的`数量（the amount of scholarship）等等。总之准备一定要充分。

在面试之前，一定要放松，充满自信但要礼貌，记住，是他们想要你。并且一般interview之前offer差不多都决定了。如果在面试中你有一些问题不懂，可以用忘了词汇来解释。如： Question: What method you learn on optimization? Answer: NEWTON，and some others I do not know how to pronounce.
