任小学英语教师以来,课余我都在反思,小学英语应该怎么教?到底存在那些弊病?以下就是我实践及参考归纳总结的想法。

直接法即大量接触真实的语言,进行真实的交流,靠大量重复模仿,强化记忆,养成习惯。视听法、听说法、交际法都属于直接法。以直接法为主进行教学,一定要有语言环境,要有高水平的师资,班额要小,学习和使用英语的机会要多。认知法不排除模仿,但由于缺乏语言环境,学习途径主要是通过理性思维,学习语音、语法、词汇知识,掌握语言规则,指导听说读写,举一反三,形成可持续发展的语言能力。英语在中国是外语,中国学生学英语,不论是小、中、大学,都不能采用二语教学类型,而要以语言知识为拐杖,在运用经验学习的同时,要注意理性认知;对于小学生尤其要培养他们可持续发展的语言学习能力,不能排斥语言知识。 而在我们现实的小学英语教学中,有限的师资力量,教师水平的相对低下,语言环境的缺乏,大规模的班级授课,都告诉我们直接法的教学方法不适合目前的小学英语的教学实际。

1、创设各种情景,鼓励学生大胆地使用英语,对他们在学习过程中的失误和错误采取宽容的态度。

2、为学生提供自主学习和直接交流的机会,以及充分表现和自我发展的一个空间。

3、鼓励学生通过体验、实践、合作、探索等方式,发展听、说、读、写的综合能力。

4、创造条件让学生能够探究他们自己的一些问题,并自主解决问题。

二、关注学生情感,创造民主、和谐的教学气氛。

学生只有对自己、对英语及其文化有积极的情态,才能保持英语学习的动力并取得成绩,刻板的情态,不仅会影响英语学习的效果,还会影响其它发展,情态是学好英语的重要因素,因此我努力创造宽松民主、和谐的教学空间,做到:

1、尊重每个学生,积极鼓励他们在学习中的尝试,保护他们的自尊心和积极性。

2、把英语教学与情态有机地结合起来,创造各种合作学习的活动,促进学生互相学习,互相帮助,体验成就感,发展合作精神。

本课执教的内容为PEP 8 Unit 2 what’s the matter, Mike? A Let’s learn let’s play. 主要让学生听、说、读、写四会词组:have a fever, have a toothache, have a headache, have a cold, hurt. 认读三会词组: have a sore throat. 同时掌握重点句型what’s the matter? I feel sick. I have a…. 并要求学生能在实际生活中运用, 提高英语的语用能力.

分析学生:针对学生现有的水平结合本课的教学内容, 在备课时我预设学生在学习以下内容中有可能遇到一定程度的困惑: 第一,对sore throat的读音;第二, hurt一词在表达中的运用以及他在句子中的第三人称变化形式.因此在教学设计中也针对以上两点做了更细致的安排.

具体流程操作如下: 在热身环节中通过熟悉的歌曲和亲切随和的师生交流让学生在逐渐进入英语课堂的氛围中,并复习第一单元的相关知识;并通过TPR 活动在游戏的过程中不知不觉地进入新授环节, 考虑到这五个新授单词具有共同的结构,因此我将其分为三类,其一是have a fever, have a cold, have a sore throat(难易结合); 其二是have a toothache, have a headache(寻找规律并穿插新的单词: earache, stomachache); 其三是hurt(作为重点操练).以上单词多通过观看PPT 图片,从形象直观的角度来加深对词组的理解. 为了巩固学生的瞬间记忆达到牢固记忆的目的,在新授的过程中穿插许多小操练,包括look and guess, look and say, make a sentence. 为了突出重点、突破难点,我利用音标让学生学习have a sore throat,在巩固音标的同时也加深了对该单词的读音,从而分解难度。在hurt以及其在句子中的特殊运用上,我设计了许多学生喜闻乐见的人物,并假设这些人物的身体某处受伤,从而让学生表演并表达,在游戏中降低学生的难度,并较深印象。在综合操练和巩固延伸环节,我通过综合的儿歌和情景演绎(医生与病人)、赛华佗等环节使整堂课的趣味性得到延续和升华。也成为本次课的另一个高潮。

英语应用能力需要相应的词汇。

“不学习语言规则、不掌握相当数量的词汇,英语应用能力就是空中楼阁”。(包天仁语)俄罗斯通常在初中一年级开设英语课(相当于我国的小学5年级),每周3节课,第一学年即要求掌握约1300个英语词汇,学生到高中毕业时要掌握1万以上词汇,基本可以读懂英文原著。而我国现在对高中毕业生的要求是掌握词汇(包括词组),新研制的'课程标准'要求掌握4000个左右的词汇。我们应该借鉴国外的经验,尽快解决英语教学费时较多、收效较低的现状。

而目前在小学的低年级的英语教学中,不要求学生掌握词汇,而只要求学生能根据提示或图片说出该单词,其本质无非是要学生们死记硬背,鹦鹉学舌。由于小学生们没有相应的读音规则训练,不熟悉词汇的拼写规则,单词的音、形、意三者不能有效的结合在一起,因而导致了单词记忆的困难,并成了小学生学英语的瓶颈。

动手实践,自主探索和合作交流是小学生学习数学的重要方式,而“猜想—验证”又是学生探索中常用的方法,这节课学生通过量、饶、滚找出周长和直径的倍数关系,用计数器把测量的周长和直径的倍数关系算出,填写报告单,观察数据发现倍数关系,由“是——也是——还是——总是”最后概括为圆的周长总是直径的三倍多一些。”较强的数学思想方法得于渗透。学生在观察、操作、讨论、交流、猜测、归纳、分析和整理的过程中,周长公式的形成、获得、应用了然于心。

学生从猜测、分组测量计算到根据新获取的数据寻找共性的东西,体验到知识的形成过程,发现了知识新成的道。在小组活动前,老师鼓励小组成员间分工合作,活动中教师参与其间,关注学生合作的情况。实验后的广泛交流达到了资源共享的目的,使接下来得到的结合更具可信度,也使学生感受到合作交流的必要性。这种以学生为主体,以教师为主导,在学生“兴趣点”上激疑、质疑,无疑能鼓舞学生的探知、求知精神,使学生真正理解、消化、吸收本课重点内容,不仅学到知识,而且学会学习。

(1)、故事激趣,渗透“转化”

本课开始,我引导学生回忆简述了“曹冲称象”的故事,并结合回忆上学期探究平行四边形、三角形、梯形面积的探究方法,引导学生发现“转化”是探究新的数学知识、解决数学问题的好方法,为下面探究圆的面积计算的方法奠定基础。

(2)、大胆猜测,激发探究

在凸现圆的面积的意义以后,我让学生猜测圆的面积可能与什么有关。当学生猜测出圆的面积可能与圆的半径有关系时,设计实验验证:以正方形的边长为半径画一个圆,用数方格的方法计算出圆的面积,学生的好奇心、求知欲被充分调动起来,而这些,又正好为他们随后进一步展开探究活动作好了“预埋”。

(3)、演示操作,加深理解

当学生通过第一个操作活动,得出圆的面积是半径平方的3倍多一些,与学生谈话:那么怎样才能精确的计算出圆的面积呢?让我们来做个实验。每个同学手中都有一个圆,现在平均分成16份,自己拼拼看,能拼成什么图形?并想想它与圆有怎样的关系。

通过观察,比较、分析,发现圆的面积、周长、半径和拼成的近似长方形面积、长、宽之间的关系,让学生推导出圆的面积计算公式。这样由扶到放,使学生的探索能力、分析问题和解决同题的能力得到了提高。

I hope I can travel around the world someday. I want to go to America to visit Washington Monument, because the president Washington is my idol. Of course, I want to go to London too, because England is where English language developed. If I can ride my bike in Cambridge university, I will be very happy.I hope I can speak English with everyone in the world.
