今天,我讲授了人教版(PEP)第四册Unit4MyHome的第一课时。本课时的教学重点是听、说、认读单词:study,bathroom,bedroom,kitchen,livingroom以及能听懂表示指令的几个动词词组。教学难点是单词study,bathroom的发音。
昨天,我就准备了相配套的录音带,自制了单词卡以及与课文相配套的图片。同时,我让他们也准备了这些东西。课前,我先让学生演唱以前学过的歌曲,激发他们的学习兴趣,使他们在一种轻松愉悦的氛围中学习,以收到良好的教学效果。纵观本节课,我做到了以下几点。
一、培养听力。
听,有助于培养学生理解语言的能力,英语尤为如此。
1、听音跟读。如在讲授Letstalk中的单词时,我让他们跟读录音机,感受单词的语音语调,培养英语语感,突破本节课难点,模仿正确发音。
2、听音理解。如在讲授Letsdo这不部分内容。首先,我让学生根据图画理解句意。之后,我放录音,他们一边听录音,一边做动作,并同时说出这些句子。学生带着要求认真听,抑扬顿挫的音乐降低了学生学习的难度。
二、创设情景。
在课堂教学中创设各种情景,鼓励学生大胆使用英语,给他们提供一个展示自我的平台。
1、利用图片。英语教学应符合小学生的年龄特点。呈现教学内容时,一般应以形象直观,生动易学为主。因此在教学单词时,我拿出了表示各种房间的图片“study,bathroom,livingroom,bedroom,kitchen”。学生眼睛看着图画,嘴里念着单词。这样既锻炼了他们的口语能力,也加深了对这些单词的印象。
2、运用日常交际语。在我的课堂教学中,经常使用一些简单的课堂交际语。营造英语语言环境。如:“Comehere.Gobacktoyourseat.Openyourbookandturntopage…“等句子,使他们在不知不觉、潜移默化的语言情景中学习英语。
三、注重活动。
学习英语的一个重要形式就是活动的开展。因此,在语言训练中,我经常开展各种有趣且有意义的活动。
组活动,同桌之间的活动都是学生平日喜闻乐见的活动形式。如在教学Letsdo时,我让同桌之间互相练习,一个读上句,一个读下句。因此,教师应给学生提供更多训练的机会,使他们成为真正的学习的`主人。
四、关注情感。
课堂教学使师生进行情感对话的过程。作为交流工具的英语更应是这样。学生只有对自己、对英语及其相关知识有积极的情感态度,才会使他们产生浓厚的学习兴趣,从而达到事半功倍的效果。
五、善于表扬。
人性中最深层次的需要就是渴望得到别人的表扬。因此,在我的教学中,我时时、处处用放大镜捕捉他们的闪光点。肯定他们的点滴进步。这学期我班转来许多新生,以前从没接触过英语,他们能读对一个单词,我就鼓励他:“Super!Youdidagoodjob!”让表扬的光环照耀在每一个学生身上。
六、关爱学生。
爱,人类一个永恒的话题。没有爱,就如世界白天没有太阳,夜晚没有月亮一样。
在我的课堂教学中,我保护每个学生的自尊心与积极性,使每个学生都得到进步与发展,尤其是有困难的学生。虽然有时候这种进步与发展使微乎其微的。我班的马宝山以前的英语成绩一直在50分以下,这学期我一直鼓励他,表扬他,用爱心打动他。每次无论干什么,我都用手在他头上轻轻抚摸一下,让他感受到教师“慈母般”的爱心。这种无声胜有声的教学方法使一块教学之“宝”,只要我们每位教师稍稍留意,随时可以在教学的漫漫征程中捡到。
一节课虽说只有40分钟,感触却极其深刻。每天都在上课,而每节课都有不妥与欠缺之处。但对于我来说都是一个成长的过程。我希望,同时我也相信,只要我们有耐心,恒心,爱心,学生将会与我们以“心”交“心”。你我的教学之路将是一片灿烂的艳阳天。

教学目标的确立,教法学法的设计,最终要在教学程序中体现。因此,合理安排教学程序是教学成功的关键之一,结合学生的认知状况,我用以下四个教学环节来完成本课的教学。
(一)激趣引入
小学四年级的学生仍然爱唱、爱跳,一开始上课就让他们学习语言或者复习语言对他们来说是枯燥的,必须有一个循序渐进的过程,所以在一上课进行简单的问候之后,我便带领学生进入了听音动作这一环节,结合学生特点我设计了以下动作:standup,sitdown,run,walk,dance,jump,sleep,wakeup.这样能有效的调节学生的情绪,使学生以昂扬的热情参与到下一环节的学习。
(二)探究新知
我在学生面前做出很开心的样子,然后高兴的告诉他们“Ihaveanewroom,abigroom,inmyroom,Ihaveadoor,adesk,achairandabed.,Ilikeitverymuch.Doyoulikemyroom?Welcometomyroom.引导学生回答Yes,Ido.然后我出示Let’slearn的图片,教学单词:因为这些单词同学都熟悉,教起来很容易,只需注意单词fridge,shelf,table的发音就可以了。因此,我通过各种游戏帮助学生记忆这些单词,这样既节省了时间,又可以调动学生的学习热情。
在单词教学这一环节里我设计了两个小游戏:第一个将本课时的单词上下左右贴在黑板上,播放录音,学生听一听,指一指。再次打乱图片顺序,学生根据录音指图片。教师还可请能力强的学生说单词,其他学生指图片。另一个游戏是让学生听录音,跟读Let’slearn中生词。然后教师随意说词,学生快速的指出。这个游戏能让学生快速反应,培养学生的观察力、快速反应能力和竞争意识。
游戏结束后,我会及时找到各组的leader简单总结自己组成员的表现情况并对其他组同学的表现进行评价。简单统计各组的奖励情况,对暂时领先的组提出表扬,对稍落后的组进行鼓励。
在Let’sdo这部分内容的教授中,我通过
1)学生听录音,边听边做。
2)教师边发出口令,边示范动作。示范后,教师发出口令,
学生做动作。
3)教师在黑板上展示Let’sdo的图卡,让学生看看图,
做一做,说一说。
4)比比谁最快,教师快速出示图卡或者说指令,学生迅速
反应,做出动作。
(三)练习延伸
小组内拿出自己准备的房间图片,根据房间图片,相互之间询问。要求学生简单描述自己的房间,结合学过的语言描述房间内家具陈设的名称、特征等。学生看着自己亲手绘制的房间图片,亲切感、生活的真实感都一股脑儿地涌上心头。此时他们用学习的语言进行交流的愿望也就特别强烈。
(四)总结评价
根据各组学生的对话情况,完成小卡通贴的发放,选出本节课的优胜组。学生进行简短自评,老师总结学生学习情况并小结本课知识点。
虽然课堂是按照原来的设计讲了下来,但还存在许多的不足:
一.复习热身的过多,以至于后面的时间过于紧张;复习的时候老师说得过多了,因为是讲过的内容,可以放开手让学生自己说,学生已经非常熟悉这些内容,老师没必要讲的很多。
二.从“新词呈现”的活动设计来看,五个新词的呈现方式未免显得单调而乏味,学生没有一种“耳目一新”之感。学生按照教师预设的程序,亦步亦趋,显示出一种明显的机械式的“走马观花”。虽然我通过TPR动作来教授单词,但是缺乏生活化的语言活动却无法激发学生的课堂表现欲。因此,课堂缺少趣味性。
三.小学英语还是要强化汉义,注重词义,不要因为要达到全英教学就不许说汉语。
改进:
一.课堂上要多用英语夸奖孩子;
二.要多听录音,学生多跟读;
三.要教学生简单的发音法;
四.单词讲解忌平均用力。
小学英语的教学要善于把英语教学生活化、活动化、情趣化。利用创设生动活泼的课堂活动,巧妙地设计一个个有效的语言信息沟,让学生在趣味中习得语言,学生的积极性得到了保护。这样,语言的生成就水到渠成了。

新课标强调从学生的学习兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发,倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式,以学生“能做某事”的描述方式设定各级目标要求,倡导教师避免单纯传授语言知识的教学方法,尽量采用“任务型”的教学途径。本人在教学my home一课时就采用了“任务型”的教学途径,并就教学得失谈谈自己的想法。
设定有效任务
“以话题为主”的方法的倡导者认为:如果学习者对有关话题或题目表现出关心和兴趣,他们就容易产生使用新语言的.动机。因此,首先要根据教学目标确立一个与学习者紧密相关并能引起他们兴趣的题目,以激发他们开展对该题目的调查,并把语言的使用当作该项调查的必要的、核心的组成部分。(赫德尔森)这样,在英语教学的课堂中,使用语言的目的就会与语言的内容紧密地结合起来,使学生在习得语言的过程中,通过大量的实践把语言知识转化为语言能力。
本课时的话题my home,非常贴近学生的生活,而且学生在课余也很乐意跟同学谈起这一话题。在设定教学目标时,我考虑到学生的程度比较好,而且他们的准备工作很充分,如果一节课只让他们掌握几个关于房间名称的单词会比较单薄,于是我就结合“Let’s do”部分的内容,增加一些有关各个房间功用的词汇,扩大信息量,给学生布置一项介绍自己家的学习任务。上课一开始,我就提出学习任务,让明确学习目的,为新课的学习做好充分的心理准备。通过新授呈现、操练巩固学习新语言,最后在完成任务的过程中运用语言,达到“能介绍自己的家”的目标。
树立“大课堂”观
所谓“大课堂”就是指教学时间不能只局限于课堂40分钟,而要将课堂教学延伸到课堂之外的学习和生活之中。教师有了教学设想之后,就应及时告知学生,给学生布置学习任务,吸引和组织学生参与到任务活动中,发挥他们的主体作用,从准备到实施都有他们的全程参与,让他们通过思考、调查、讨论、交流和合作等方式,学习和使用英语,完成学习任务。
在教学这一课时前两天,我就给他们布置了预习作业,让他们画画自己的家,去找找家里的各个房间用英语分别是怎么说的,学生都能兴致勃勃地去准备。这样,大部分学生在上课之前其实就已经学会了部分甚至全部新语言,减轻了课堂负担,使补充教学内容和增大信息量成为可能。另外,也为任务的实施提供了时间的.保证。
当然,课堂上学生完成学习任务的活动也不能成为任务型教学的终极目标。我们更应该放眼于生活课堂、社会课堂,让学生在真正的生活中去使用语言,达到交际目的。这节课中,我让学生先在四人小组介绍自己的家,然后让他们在教室里自由找自己的好朋友介绍,最后结束时,再让学生课外向老师介绍自己的家或者家里来客人时,带客人一边参观一边介绍。这样,就拓宽了学生学习和使用语言的渠道,达到了教育即生活,生活即教育的理想境界。
注重榜样示范的作用
小学生的学习能力还比较弱,学习策略比较欠缺,对语言的整体把握能力也不够强。因此,在教学过程中榜样示范的作用显得尤为重要。并且还要注重示范的层递性:由教师示范或借助媒体示范到尖子生的示范再到大面积练习,要充分考虑到学生的接受能力。
在本堂课的教学中,我不仅在教学词汇和说唱时强调示范,更重要的是在任务实施过程中注重示范。我以自己的语言和动作感染学生,激发学生说与做的欲望。让学生介绍自己的家之前,我给出语言框架,先自己示范介绍,然后让尖子生学着模仿,再分成四人小组相互介绍,最后再让学生自由到好朋友地方介绍。这样,学生学得扎实,学习任务也能顺利完成。
虽然这堂课上得比较顺利,但是还有不少遗憾。最主要的是评价机制还不够,评价方式比较单一,在以后的教学中有待改进与提高。

A test of spoken English has been included as an optional component of College English Test (CET). Some people argue that it is absolutely necessary to hold a test of spoken English in China because we have been informed frequently that a Chinese student who has been learning English for over ten years cannot even communicate with a native speaker. A test of spoken English will bring the college students an awareness of the importance of oral English, and will thus help them with their communicating skills.
On the other hand, some others still maintain that a good command of reading and writing skills will be enough for the English learners. To some extent their opinion derives from the fact that students are already under considerable pressure from their coursework. Another required test will only add to their burden.
In my opinion, a test of spoken English does more good than harm. Since China will continue its policy of opening and reform, the ability to speak English fluently is a must for anyone who wants to surpass others in a highly competitive society. Whether I take the test or not, I shall spare no efforts to practice oral English in the remaining years of my college study.
