篇1:三分钟英语故事演讲稿
Little Robert asked his mother for two cents. What did you do with the money I gave you yesterday?
I gave it to a poor old woman, he answered.
Youre a good boy, said the mother proudly. Here are two cents more. But why are you so interested in the old woman?
She is the one who sells the candy.
篇2:三分钟英语故事演讲稿
A young man and an old man were waiting for a bus at a station. They sat next to each other.
“What's that in your bag?”asked the young man, pointing to a big bag beside the old man.
“Gold, nothing but gold,”answered the old man.
The young man could hardly believe his own ears,“What?”he said to himself in surprise.“So much gold? My God! How I wish to be able to get so much gold!”Then he began to think about how to get the gold.
The old man looked tired and sleepy and it seemed that he could hardly keep his eyes open.“Are you sleepy, sir?”asked the young man.“Then you'd better lie down on the chair and have a good rest. Don't worry about the bus. I'll wake you up in time.”
“All right. It's very kind of you, young man.”The old man lay down and before long he fell asleep.
The young man took the big bag gently. But when he was about to run away, he found a corner of his fur coat was under the old man's body. Several times he tried to pull it out, but he couldn't. At last he took off his coat and went away with the bag.
The young man ran out of the station as quickly as his legs could carry him. When he reached a place where he thought the old man couldn't find him, he stopped and quickly opened the bag.
To his surprise, there was nothing but a lot of small stones in it. He hurried to the station at once. But when he got there, he found the old man was gone.
篇3:三分钟英语故事演讲稿
I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat. We have before us an ordeal of the most grievous kind. We have before us many, many months of struggle and suffering. You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word, it is victory.
Victory at all costs—victory in spite of all terrors—victory, however long and hard the road may be, for without victory there is no survival. Let that be realized, no survival for the British Empire, no survival for all that British Empire has stood for , no survival for the urge, the impulse of the ages, that mankind shall more forward toward his goal. I take up my task in buoyancy and hope. I feel sure that our cause will not be suffered to fail among men. I feel entitled at this juncture, at this time, to claim the aid of all and to say, “Come then, let us go forward together with our united strength.”
篇4:三分钟英语故事演讲稿
She kindled a third match。 Again shot up the flame; and now she was sitting under a most beautiful Christmas tree ,far larger, and far more prettily decked out, than the one she had seen last Christmas eve through the glass doors of the rich merchant's house。 Hundreds of wax-tapers lighted up the green branches, and tiny painted figures, such as she had seen in the shop-windows, looked down from the tree upon her。 The child stretched out her hands towards them in delight, and in that moment the lights of the match warm quenched; still, however, the Christmas candles burned higher and higher, she beheld them beaming like stars in heaven; one of them fell, the lights streaming behind it like a long, fiery tail。
“Now some one is dying,” said the little girl, softly, for she had been told by her old grandmother, the only person who had ever been kind to her, and who was now dead that whenever a star falls an immortal spirit returns to the God who gave it。
She struck yet another match against the wall; it flamed up, and surrounded by its light, appeared before her that same dear grandmother, gentle and loving as always, but bright and happy as she had never looked during her lifetime。

Look at the Sky from the Bottom of a Well
There is a frog. He lives in a well and he never goes out of the well. He thinks the sky is as big as the mouth of the well.
One day a crow comes to the well. He sees the frog and says, “Frog, let’s have a talk.” Then the frog asks, “Where are you from?” “I fly from the sky,” the crow says. The frog feels surprised and says, “The sky is only as big as the mouth of the well. How do you fly from the sky?”
The crow says, “The sky is very big. You always stay in the well, so you don’t know the world is big.”
The frog says, “I don’t believe.” But the crow says, “You can come out and have a look by yourself.”

篇8:三分钟左右英语故事
A barber was in his shop, busily cutting a man's hair, when a handsome young stranger came in. He had a small boy with him. They sat down together and waited until the barber had finished. Then the young man told the barber to shave him and to cut the small boy's hair.
The barber said,“Do you want me to cut the boy's hair first, or to shave you?”
“Oh, shave me.”said the young man.“Then I'll go down the road and have a glass of wine while you're cutting the boy's hair.”
The young man sat down in the barber's chair, and the barber began to shave him.
When he had finished, the young man got up and said,“I'll go down the road now and have my wine while you're cutting the boy's hair.”
“All right, but I won't take long.”the barber warned him. The young man went out, the small boy obediently sat down in the barber's chair, and the barber began to cut his hair.
As he had said, he soon finished, and then the boy sat down and waited. At the end of half an hour, when the young man had still not come back, the barber said to the boy,“It is a pity that your daddy's taking such a long time. Where is he likely to be now?”
“I can't guess,”answered the small boy.“And that man wasn't my daddy. I've never seen him before in my life. I was playing in the street this morning, and he came up to me and asked me whether I'd like to have my hair cut without having to pay anything. I said I would, because my hair was rather long, so he brought me here.”
篇9:三分钟左右英语故事
A famous doctor once attended a little boy who was dangerously ill. Thanks to his skill and care this young patient recovered, and was soon able to get up and run about again. The child's mother was very grateful, and she called on the doctor to thank him for what he had done for her son.
“Doctor,”she said.“You have saved my little boy's life. I do not know how to thank you enough. I feel that money alone cannot repay you, so I have made this little purse with my own hands, as a sign of my gratitude. I hope you will accept it.”
The doctor drew himself up and said coldly,“Madam, little presents like that are very nice between friends, but a doctor needs to be paid properly for his attentions.”
The lady was too surprised and hurt to reply for a moment. Then she said quietly,“Perhaps you will tell me what your fee is, doctor?”
“Fifty pounds,”he answered.
The lady opened the little purse that she had made and took out four fifty-pound bank notes. She handed one of them to the doctor, and put the other three back into the purse. She put the purse into her handbag, and saying good morning to the doctor, she went out of the room.
篇10:三分钟左右英语故事
There was a bookseller who did not like to pay for anything. One day a big box of books fell on his foot.
“Go to the doctor,”said his wife,“show that foot to him.”
“No,”he said,“I'll wait until the doctor comes to our shop next time. Then I'll ask him about my foot. If I go to see him, I shall have to pay.”
The next day the doctor came to the shop to buy some books. The bookseller told the doctor about his bad foot. The doctor looked at it and promised to help.
He took out a piece of paper and wrote something on it.“Buy this and put it on the foot before you go to bed every night.”he said.
“Thank you.”said the bookseller.“And now, sir, here are your books.”
“How much?”asked the doctor.
“Two pounds.”
“Good,”said the doctor.“I shall not have to pay you anything today.”
“Why?”asked the bookseller.
“I have examined your foot. I want two pounds for that. If people come to my house, I ask them to pay one pound for a small thing like that. But when I go to their houses, I usually charge two pounds. And I came here today, didn't I? Bye-bye!”

篇14:三分钟英语演讲稿
Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen:
Today I would like to begin with a story。 There was once a physicaltherapist who traveled all the way from America to Africa to do a census aboutmountain gorillas。 These gorillas are a main attraction to tourists from allover the world; this put them severely under threat of poaching and being putinto the zoo。 She went there out of curiosity, but what she saw strengthened herdetermination to devote her whole life to fighting for those beautifulcreatures。 She witnessed a scene, a scene taking us to a place we never imagedwe've ever been, where in the very depth of the African rainforest, surroundedby trees, flowers and butterflies, the mother gorillas cuddled their babies。
Yes, that's a memorable scene in one of my favorite movies, called Gorillasin the Mist, based on a true story of Mrs。 Diana Fossey, who spent most of herlifetime in Rwanda to protect the ecoenvironment there until the very end of herlife。
To me, the movie not only presents an unforgettable scene but also acts asa timeless reminder that we should not develop the tourist industry at the costof our eco-environment。
Today, we live in a world of prosperity but still threatened by so many newproblems。 On the one hand, tourism, as one of the most promising industries inthe 21st century, provides people with the great opportunity to see everythingthere is to see and to go any place there is to go。 It has bee a lifestyle forsome people, and has turned out to be the driving force in GDP growth。 It hasthe magic to turn a backward town into a wonderland of prosperity。 But on theother hand, many problems can occur - natural scenes aren't natural anymore。Deforestation to heat lodges are devastating Nepal。 Oil spills from touristboats are polluting Antarctica。 Tribal people are forsaking their native musicand dress to listen to U2 on Walkman and wear Nike and Reeboks。
All these appalling facts have brought us to the realization that we can nolonger stand by and do nothing, because the very thought of it has been erodingour resources。 Encouragingly, the explosive growth of global travel has puttourism again in the spotlight, which is why the United Nations has made the year of ecotourism, for the first time to bring to the world's attention thebenefits of tourism, but also its capacity to destroy our ecoenvironment。
Now every year, many local ecoenvironmental protection organizations arereceiving donations - big notes, small notes or even coins - from housewives, plumbers, ambulance drivers, salesmen, teachers, children and invalids。 Some ofthem cannot afford to send the money but they do。 These are the ones who drivethe cabs, who nurse in hospitals, who are suffering from ecological damage intheir neighborhood。 Why? Because they care。 Because they still want their MotherNature back。 Because they know it still belongs to them。
This kind of feeling that I have, ladies and gentlemen, is when it feelslike it, smells like it, and looks like it , it's all ing from a scene to beremembered, a scene to recall and to cherish。
The other night, as I saw the moon linger over the land and before it wassent into the invisible, my mind was filled with songs。 I found myself hummingsoftly, not to the music, but to something else, someplace else, a placeremembered, a place untouched, a field of grass where no one seemed to have beenexcept the deer。
And no matter who we are, what we do and where we go, in our minds, there'salways a scene to remember, a scene worth our effort to protect it and fight forit。
Thank you very much。
篇15:三分钟英语演讲稿
hello everyone!
Students, guests , teachers and Honorable Judges
Good morning !
my great pleasure to share my dream with you today。 my dream is to bee ateacher。
As the whole world has its boundaries, limits and freedom coexist in ourlife。 I don’t expect plete freedom, which is impossible。 I simply have a dreamthat supports my life。
I dream that one day, I could escape from the deep sea of thick schoolbooksand lead my own life。 With my favorite fictions, I lie freely on the greengrass, smelling the spring, listening to the wind singing, breathing the freshand cool air and dissolve my soul in nature at last。 Simple and short enjoymentcan bring me great satisfaction。
I dream that one day the adults could throw their prejudice of ic andcartoon away。 They could keep a lovely heart that can share sorrow and happinesswith us while watching cartoon or doing personal things。 That’s the realmunication of heart to heart。
I have the belief that my dreams should e true。 I am looking forward tosome day ing when I am like a proud eagle, which flies to the blue and vastsky。
Thank you!
