1、动词变为动名词的规则:
动词变为动名词,即是动词加 ing。一般要遵循以下三条规则:

记忆、复习和英语学习的时间分配
1.记忆策略
语言学习者要记忆大量的词汇,背诵英语单词、短语是每一个英语学习者面临的艰巨任务,也是令每一个英语学习者感到棘手的问题。成人如此,小学生也不例外。因此,在英语学习的启蒙阶段,让小学生了解单词记忆的一些策略是十分必要的。
(1)读音记忆法:根据单词的读音记忆单词。它是记忆策略的首选,也是学好英语的重要途径。在教学中,我们经常会发现一些学生能够阅读,也会用英语写作,却不会用英语与人交流,甚至在课堂上不敢张开嘴巴说,即出现所谓的“哑巴英语”现象。根据读音记忆单词,既可以避免“哑巴英语”现象,又能培养学生良好的英语学习习惯,提高学习效率。
(2)联想记忆法:设法把单词的音或形或义联系起来。人的记忆能力,主要来自联想。记忆力强的人,都具有较强的联想能力。记忆以联想为基础,联想的建立为记忆提供更多的线索,线索越多,记住一个单词就越容易,提取这个单词也就越顺利。我们可以总结出以下几种联想法:
拼写联想,将拼写类似的单词集中在一起记忆,如:book, cook, look; bar, car, far, farm; boy, toy;bee, see, tree等。
意义联想,从词义方面联想与其有相近或相反关系的单词。如:同义词good——nice; 反义词good——bad; old—— young;tall——short。
归类联想,即将同类单词集中在一起记忆。如由red联想到各种颜色:green, yellow, brown, white, purple, blue, orange, black, pink;由eye联想到身体各部分:head, face, ear, nose, arm, heel , elbow, hand, finger, leg, foot, toe等。
形义联想,就是对单词的结构赋予一定的形象。如:eye 可以认为单词中的两个e就是两只眼睛,y是一个鼻子。
音义联想,设法把单词的音和义联想起来。如:把cab想象为“汽车开吧”。
对比联想,即把读音相似或形状相似的单词进行比较记忆。如由see联想到sea, 由sing联想到thin, 由house联想到horse,由grass联想到glass等。
类推联想,即由一个单词联想到一个以上词组或句子。如学了put, 会想到put up, 进一步可以想到 “Put up your hands”;学了play可以联想到play football, play basketball, play tabletennis, play with a dog等。
单词——复合词联想,由一个单词联想到由其组成的复合词。如由book联想到bookcase, 由under联想到understand, 由tooth联想到toothache、toothbrush等。
总之,联想的方法还有很多,如视觉联想,名词的单复数联想,动词的现在分词、过去分词联想,形容词的比较级联想等等,这里不再一一列举。
(3)嘴、眼、耳、手并用记忆法。心理学对记忆的研究结果表明,人们感觉信息的主要渠道有四个:视觉、听觉、动觉和触觉。而且刺激的渠道越多,大脑中建立的联系越多,记忆也就越牢固扎实。因此,读、看、听、写是最有效的学习方式。如:当我们在超市看到“香肠”时,应该尝试着说出单词“sausage”;当我们学到“long”时,嘴巴里说 “long, long”,同时可以伸开双臂,用动作表示“long”;当我们听到一个单词时,可以跟读几遍,也可以边读边写。
2.复习策略
英语老师经常听到有学生抱怨记忆单词困难。今天背的单词,明天一早就忘了。其实这是一种十分正常的现象。常言道:复习为记忆之母。记忆单词难,学了又忘。这种现象符合“记忆——遗忘——再记忆”的客观规律。我们往往会发现,课堂上使用频率高的句子,同学们就掌握得比较好。这是由于多次复习与使用的缘故。一般说来,任何一种没有经过复习和巩固的知识迟早都要被遗忘。日本学者上冈光雄通过“英语单词保持率曲线”证明:背过的英语单词,如不加以复习巩固,时隔一天就会被忘记10%,但是如果学后3天不复习巩固,就会忘记40%,如果4——7天不复习,就会忘掉60——70%,时隔3周,所记的单词就所剩无几了,留在脑海中的只是模模糊糊的印象。因此,学习英语必须坚持课后及时复习与有计划地循环复习相结合,即开始时复习时间间隔要短,然后间隔逐渐加大。
3.时间分配策略
儿童学习语言离不开他所生活的家庭和社会环境,不受时间的限制,可以在各种非正式的场合里大量接触语言。儿童每天都接触母语,而且是在任何场所,但是,英语学习仅仅局限于教室,课堂以外一般很少接触英语。在课堂上,大家都在教师的指导下学习,相差无几,差别就在于课后的学习。爱因斯坦曾经说过,,人的差别主要在于业余时间。小学生课后学习英语一般每天应保证半小时。我们知道,分散记忆优于集中记忆。例如,一天集中一小时学习英语不如上午花半小时,下午花半小时。同样,在家集中半小时复习英语不如饭后花20分钟,临睡前花10分钟。小学生在家学习英语的时间以每天不超过一小时为宜,包括收看英语节目、听英语歌曲等。为了营造学习英语的良好氛围,我们也可以在每天早上刷牙、洗脸、吃饭或平时做家务时,播放一些课文录音或自己喜欢的英语歌曲。虽然你没有集中注意力听,但可以在潜意识中培养一定的语音、语调和语感。
二、认知策略
小学生接收英语的听与读方面,形式单一。绝大部分学生停留在听老师讲课和跟老师朗读这个层面。这固然重要,但是老师以外的信息更加丰富,而且又有选择性。如同学发言、录音磁带、广播电视等,但首先要利用好配套的录音磁带。我在班里做了一个简单的调查,结果发现绝大多数学生都在开学初就买了与教材配套的录音磁带,但回到家真正听过录音磁带的同学为数很少,其中包括一些英语成绩优秀的学生。好学生的理由是录音太简单了,我不用听。一些成绩相对较差的学生则抱怨录音带朗读快,听不懂,所以以后就不听了。其实,能够听懂也好,不能够听懂也好,都应该听,只不过是程度不同导致了听的次数多少的差异。英语基础薄弱的学生可以先逐句听,再整体听,多听几次。最好先不要打开课本对照地听,只有听了几次还没听清楚时方可看看课本。
我们学习英语就怕说。很多学生说英语时,是先想中文,再译成英语,没有养成用英语思维的习惯。因此,平时应在课堂上逐步训练用英语解释英语的能力。在我国,课堂是说英语的主阵地。我们正是因为没有说英语的环境而增加了英语学习的难度。在家与父母说英语或与老外交谈确实是英语学习的好机会,但都有很大局限性。唯一不受时空限制的练习方式就是自问自答、自言自语。
5三、学用结合
我国语言学家吕叔湘说过:“学语言不能忽略巩固阶段,要不断地用它。”由此可见,英语的学与用是密不可分的。英语学习者要善于模仿,勇于实践。学习语言就是为了交际。儿童刚学会“爸爸”、“妈妈”两个词时,他们就能大胆地使用,看见所有的男性都叫“爸爸”,看见所有的女性都叫“妈妈”。小学生学习英语就要像孩提时那样敢于在犯错误和使用中学习英语。在启蒙阶段,英语词汇有限,可混合使用汉语与英语,如说“谢谢”时就要想到“Thank you!”,刚学习apple后,可以回家对妈妈说:“Mum, 我要吃apple”。练习使用英语的方法有多种,例如,同学之间英语对话,参加英语角,网上英语聊天,写英语日记等等。

一、复习目的
最近,我们六年级的英语教学工作已接近尾声,投入到了紧张的总复习阶段。复习能让学生巩固所学知识,提高综合运用语言的能力,还能查漏补缺,使学生能顺利地完成小学阶段的学习任务,能在毕业考试中取得好成绩,更重要的是为今后的学习打下坚实的基础。因此对于我们毕业班老师和学生来说,近阶段的复习工作显得尤为重要。
二、复习原则
1.不要把复习课仅作为练习课
在以往的毕业班复习时我们发现:有些老师把复习课简单地当作练习课来上,今天在这里找张练习卷,明天从从那里拿张练习卷。每天都是学生枯燥地做题,老师疲惫地讲题,上课基本听不到学生说英语,而且很多练习都是简单地重复。这种搞题海战的做法不但让学生感到疲倦乏味,而且没有注重学生能力的培养。
2.内容上打破年级、单元的界限,为学生呈现一个完整的知识体系。
牛津小学英语教材注重交际、情景真实而且结构清晰,句型和词汇融于情景对话之中。但这套教材容量较大、而且知识的复现率不是很高。复习时我们又不可能按教材顺序从3A-6B面面俱到地帮助学生把课本里的每一个单词、每一个句子都分析地很深很透。所以,在进入复习备课前,教师首先需要将从3A到6B的每个单元都仔细推敲、精心提炼,在复习时以6B为基础,把6B归纳为数个话题,再把其他七册教材中出现的知识点有机地融入这些话题中进行滚动复习,也就是对小学阶段的教材精心地整合。下面,我主要就6B所涉及的话题,以及如何把前面教材中的内容融入这些话题进行交流。
6B主要谈论到以下话题:写信、问路、校园生活、谈论活动、谈论天气等自然现象。
三、复习安排
第一轮:按话题进行知识梳理
以上话题复习的方式主要以学生自主的归纳总结为主,分三个步骤完成:
1.课前布置任务——给学生话题,让他们把各册书中有关的内容整理到作业中,可以合作完成并和同学口头先说说。
2.课上给出学生准备过的话题,用brain storming的方式让学生充分的说。如果学生说的是单词,再请他/她说一句包含该单词的句子或问答。然后在学生互相补充,充分丰富了该话题后,让他们同桌或小组对话,或就话题说话。课上可以针对该话题出一些上下文填空、整句翻译等难度大于平时新授时的练习。
3.课后可以布置写小作文。
值得提出的是,第一步和第三步的学生作业中的答案都不一样,教师批阅时难度较大,所以切忌流于形式,如果学生写了作文老师看都不看的话,学生积极性会减弱,会影响后面的复习。
第二轮:归类复习和练习
词汇:如反义词、近义词、同音词、代词的格等,这些内容同样可以先让学生自主搜集,在课上老师总结归纳的基础上,出一些“用所给词的正确形式填空”等练习,把这些词汇融入句中及时练习,并及时反馈。
句子:讲清各种时态、各种句型的陈述句、否定句、一般疑问句和特殊疑问句变化规则,特别是第三人称单数和过去式的句型转换。
语篇:训练学生通过上下文理解语篇的能力。在阅读理解中根据上下文猜测词义的能力。做完形填空时养成先整篇看完后再开始做的习惯。
第三轮:听力策略指导
进行必要的听力策略指导:听前仔细看题目,根据进行一定的猜测,听短文或较长的句子时做适当的记录(数字、画简单的图、写中文帮助记忆等)。
第四轮:做综合练习卷
选择好的综合练习卷,比如往年的毕业考卷,进行练习,在2、3次练习后,做得好的题型可以少练,针对学生的弱项再加强分析、指导和训练。

Spring set in early this year. Some of my neighbors began to grow flowers. There were morning glories, jasmine, cactus, and the like in their flowerpots. I wanted to have a try myself. But I had neither knowledge nor experience in such matters. Fortunately, I came across a book on plants in the library. I read the relevant chapters, which left me with the impression that any plant would grow luxuriantly if you could supply it with sufficient fertilizer and water. I really took good care of them and eagerly awaited their sprouting. But,be that as it may,they just didn't come up. When half a month had elapsed,I was absolutely disappointed. I dug some of the seeds out of the soil and found they had already rotted! Why they had rotted defied my analysis. So I went to consult one of my neighbors. He told me my failure was due to my misunderstanding of the hook, and the fact was that I had overfed them water or fertilizer may be a two-edged sword.
I think I must draw a lesson from this failure——Never go beyond the limit even if for good purpose.

Hello! My name is Wang Yueqi. My English name is Steven. I'm a boy. I'm twelve. I'm in Class 2, Grade 6. In our class, every student has an English name. Our classroom is wide and bright. There are forty-six students in my class.
We have Chinese, maths, English, science, music, art and PE lessons every day. Our English teacher is Mr Zhang. He speaks English well. He is very kind to us. My classmates love him very much. We like to play football with him after class. We read English every morning. We say “Hello!” and “See you later!” to all the teachers in our school in English. Other teachers say “Good morning.” and “Sit down, please.” to us in English, too. We are all glad to hear that. So we are very happy in our school life.
