我今年五年级，一直以来根本对英文毫无兴趣。直到我遇见一位专门教英文的老师，才使我对英文产生了浓厚的兴趣。这位英文老师是我五年级的老师。我们都叫他sir，或是张老师。sir的年纪有点大，看起来六十岁或七十岁。
很多老师说sir是学校的老臣子，经验丰富，在学校服务多年，让他教我们英文真是三生有幸。sir很严肃，不平易近人，就因为这样很少同学愿意听他的课和很少老师和他谈话。每当在上英文课时，同学们似乎把sir当作是“透明人”一样当作他不存在，你说你的，我说我的。
我是班长，每个星期三我都得去办公室把功课交给老师。我看见老师们都有说有笑，唯有sir独自一人看英文书，让感觉我好心酸。
老师们日盼已久的教师节终于来临了！老师们穿得漂漂亮亮的来学校。表演已开始了，我望来望去都看不到sir的踪影。我感到好奇怪呀，全校的老师都下来了，怎么没看到sir呢？我去到办公室顺道把教师节礼物放在曾经努力教过我的老师的桌位上。我无意中看见sir在他的桌位上批改我们的作业，我感到很奇怪。我向前去问sir再送sir礼物。sir的桌上没有一份礼物，我想没同学送sir礼物。
