《鲁滨逊漂流记》记叙了一位名叫鲁滨逊的青年，自小就想外出去冒险，不听父母的劝告，开始了海上冒险。
不料一次发生了意外，他是唯一的幸存者，且被困在了荒岛上。虽然他除了仅有的一点生活用品外，一无所有，但他却用自己的双手造出了自己所需的物品。例：桌子，椅子……还用篱笆做围栏，用来驯养羊群。这一切在他人看起来不可思议，可鲁滨逊确确实实的做到了。
运用自己所了解到的知识，解决了许多困难，终于在27年零十九天回到了祖国。
看完这本书，引起了我的思考：如果其他人流入荒岛，一定会抱怨上帝的不公，可他非但没有抱怨，还坚强了活了下来。每天都阅读《圣经》和祷告上帝，怀着感激的心情感激上帝给他的种种恩惠。我不禁想到了我自己。如果是我，能在无人又无必需品的情况下在一个荒岛上生活长达27年多吗？答案是否定的。而他——鲁滨逊却做到了！甚至比任何人做的还要好！而这27年多在荒岛上的经历也成了他这一生最宝贵的财富。——因为他学会了自力更生和永远保持乐观的心态！
这本书告诉我们：遇到困难和危险，不要放弃希望，只要用自己的智慧和双手去创造，任何困难都会迎刃而解！乐观面对现实，就能成功克服困难，甚至能跟鲁滨逊一样，创造一个超乎自己和所有人想象的奇迹！
