recently i have spent nearly two months in reading robinson crusoe, an excellent novel written by famous british writer daniel defoe. the thought-provoking book sheds light on how to be independent in extreme conditions and how to pursue inner peace.

the protagonist robinson is a household name as a daring explorer. ever since his childhood, he has developed a special fondness of sea. maturing as time goes by, he sets out sailing with friends. yet unfortunately all their attempts ended in failure. unwilling to give up, he once again departs from brazil but the voyage proves to be arduous. the crew is confronted with devastating storms and tsunami, and as a result only robinson is alive and the others are drowned. however, the lucky dog is instantly put to a great challenge―to live on his own in a remote uninhabited island. surprisingly, the twenty-eight-year island life does not consume him but helps shape his strong and vibrant personalities.

while reading the novel, i keenly felt that to be back on one’s feet after failures or setbacks strike, one should have great perseverance and courage. the reason why robinson can miraculously overcome a string of difficulties is that he always has a firm belief and confidence in himself. moreover, it reminds me of the old man and the sea by hemingway. the nobel-winning masterpiece also illustrates the multiple dimensions of human nature and displays the strength of life.

in real life, difficulties crop up all the time, especially in today’s intensely competitive society. to survive and succeed, perhaps the only thing we can do is to fearlessly face and endure the unavoidable hardships.

After reading Robinson Crusoe, I have deep feelings. This book is basically written like Robinson, sailing and adventure, due to the storm big partners on board lost their lives, only Robinson was drifting to a deserted island. His distraught to face their own situation, and later Robinson found a water source, they can prevent wild animals where they set up a tent on the island, he encountered many difficulties and even disease, but he has overcome. He lived on the island is a twenty-eight years, and always have the risk of attack by wild beasts, no friends, do not have enough food, little hope of life,

However, Robinson has created a great miracle, he actually survived, it should be said of Robinson, died by virtue of a b will and immense wisdom survived.

Robinson gave me the lesson that setbacks and failures, do not despair, and only did not despair, to be successful.Yes ah, people“s life there will be a lot of setbacks, the face of setbacks, you are only two: one to move forward, and the other one is back, Robinson chose the former.

Chu is a wise one phase has a b will also infinite wisdom, outstanding military strategist, Sima Yi in the hundreds of thousands of troops to attack Chu fortresses, when faced with only a few hundred non-commissioned officers, then unable to reach Jiubing circumstances, Zhuge Liang is not a choice retreat, with his extraordinary wisdom clever to make empty city, fraudulently obtained Sima Yi is not a sense of attack had to retreat. Zhuge Liang rely solely on the strength of their own, they repulsed the Sima Yi is the tens of thousands of troops.

I believe that in our study, living and working in the b will and infinite wisdom is essential, both are indispensable, they are a guarantee of success.

Recently, I read ”Robinson Crusoe“ this book, it tells a story of the legendary hero Robinson: Despite the opposition of her parents at home, to give up the cause of development, just like sailing, the floating world, but on the first day he set foot on the deck, he began his dangerous and more the fate of the trip...... He worked as a farmer, a slave, and eventually lost his companion to a desert island. But Robinson did not come dazed for death, but with his wisdom and amazing perseverance to survive, even on the island, the goats barley, making pottery, became king of the island. Later, after helping a British captain, thirty-five years after he left home, he came back to his hometown.

How brave Robinson is. He is beginning to the island of despair, he said: ”I grieved me this desolate environment, no food, no houses, no clothes, no weapons, no way, no hope for rescued, only death, the beast is not swallow, is by savage...... "But, slowly, he embodies the unique character, full of hope for life, not all day immersed in their own pessimistic design, undivided attention began to arrange their own life, he built a small house; do the table, a small box; after a lamb, a dog; wheat, rice...... In this way, he created his own little kingdom with his own hands.

Robinson's strength not only lets me admire, his optimism spirit also lets me admire very much. When we first arrived at a desert island, Robinson had no assistants, no tools, no experience, so it took a lot of time and effort to do anything. It takes forty-two days to make a block of wood. He did many things in vain, failed, but he never discouraged, disappointed, always summed up the failure of the experience and start again. The hard work gave him a pleasing return, and at last he became a ship, with bread, crockery, houses, none of which had not taken much effort to overcome many difficulties. See here, I can not help but reflect on the past, if I do not succeed, will be discouraged, and then do not. This is wrong, should be like Robinson, summed up the failure of the experience, and start again.

On the road of life, through the naive years, out of the school gate, into the farther road of life, like Robinson drifting, like, led a different life. Drifting is actually life. If the assumption is not left, not through the years of research optimism, how will the real success of Heliocentricity confirmed. If there is no idea of entrepreneurship, there is no use to withstand setbacks in the entrepreneurial heart of entrepreneurship, how can there be so many successful entrepreneurs?. If there were no anti feudal, anti aggression ideas, there were not so many people on the road of thorns, how can we have a splendid China now?....... In science, in economy, in history, did not stop the pace of your head against the idea, with your hand action, with your mind optimistic, to face all......

This is a novel by the English author Daniel Defoe, published in 1719. It is one of the most popular adventure novels in all literature. It is the story of Bobinson Crusoe, an Englishman who is shipwrecked in a lonely tropical island. He builds himself a hut, grows his own food, and becomes self-sufficient. After 23 years he meets with a group of cannibals and rescues one of their prisoners, a young native whome he calls Friday.Crusoe and his“man”Friday become close friends, and when they are finally rescued four years later, both return to England.

Robinson Crusoe was partly based on the actual deeds of Alexander Selkirk, an 18th-century Scottish sailor who spent almost five years alone on a desert island. This novel is famous for its lovely details and its expression of belief in man's ability when left alone in nature.
