小学英语教学应较多地采用采用认知法，而不是直接法。
直接法即大量接触真实的语言，进行真实的交流，__大量重复模仿，强化记忆，养成习惯。视听法、听说法、交际法都属于直接法。以直接法为主进行教学，一定要有语言环境，要有高水平的师资，班额要小，学习和使用英语的机会要多。认知法不排除模仿，但由于缺乏语言环境，学习途径主要是通过理性思维，学习语音、语法、词汇知识，掌握语言规则，指导听说读写，举一反三，形成可持续发展的语言能力。英语在中国是外语，中国学生学英语，不论是小、中、大学，都不能采用二语教学类型，而要以语言知识为拐杖，在运用经验学习的同时，要注意理性认知;对于小学生尤其要培养他们可持续发展的语言学习能力，不能排斥语言知识。
而在我们现实的小学英语教学中，有限的师资力量，教师水平的相对低下，语言环境的缺乏，大规模的班级授课，都告诉我们直接法的教学方法不适合目前的小学英语的教学实际。
篇7： 小学英语课文反思
小学英语教学是要重视培养兴趣，但不能单__唱歌游戏去学习，因为培养兴趣主要是为了学习英语。小学生学习英语不是英美的移民学习英语，则只有不断学到语言知识，提高语言能力，满足他们的成就感，才可能培养持久的.兴趣。而目前小学生每周只有100多分钟的英语课，单__唱歌游戏不能培养学生持久的兴趣。新鲜劲儿一过，孩子们就会厌倦。所以，唱歌游戏应该作为小学生学习英语语言知识、技能的一些手段，而不是培养兴趣的手段。我们可以采用多种手段帮助小学生在记忆力强的时期多记单词，多学习语言规则，并尽可能多创造模仿的机会，提高学生的语音和语调。在英语学习中，听、说、读、写、译五种能力是可以互补的。真正做到听说先行，读写跟上。光听说不读写，很难收到高效。只__模仿不培养学习能力，也难减轻学习负担。所以小学生还是应当认真进行语言学习。不断反思，集体讨论，积极了解讯息是我们现代教师必须作到的功课，我们的不断积累和成长才能帮助孩子们更好的进步。教学反思《小学英语教学反思》
我执教的本节课主要围绕生日宴会上让学生掌握词组birthday party及儿歌(生日歌)，能询问What do you like? I like____.说说自己喜欢的食物。
为了更好的突出重点，突破难点，我采用了情景教学法、直观教学演示法、交际法、愉快教学法等相结合的方法，以情感培育人，以兴趣吸引人。通过媒体演示展示情景cake,birthday cake。操练单词、词组时我让学生配上拍手、跺脚、说象声词Yummy,yummy,充分调动学生的多种感官，让学生整体感知，体验语言的真实自然及语言的交际功能。
培养他们兴趣的同时，适当扩大知识量，让学生说说What do you like? I like---.可以是不可数名词，可以是名词单数，也可以是名词复数。丰富学生的信息量，把重点放在培养学生实际运用语言的能力上。
在操练句型时，有一位小朋友竟然提出和听课的老师对话，虽然说得不是最好，但他大胆的举动使课堂充满了活跃的气氛。
