英语四级总分710分，分为作文、听力、阅读、翻译四个题型，作文106.5分，占15%，听力248.5分，占35%，阅读248.5分，占35%，翻译106.5分，占15%，英语四级分值如下：

一、作文

1.语言表达的水平是作文的生命线。大家在保证句子正确流畅的同时，还要增加文章的亮点，就是多使用一些高级词汇和语法句式。

2.英文文章讲究逻辑严密。通常作文都可以写成三段，第一段提出问题或是分析图画，第二段分析问题或是揭示图画寓意，第三段总论解决问题。

3.短文写作中，文章主题需紧紧围绕图片所揭示的寓意来描写，而段落布局结构也要符合提纲的要求，比如举例说明的时候就一定要举一到两例进行说明，并且所举事例也必须和主题相符。

二、听力

1.听力考试正式开始之前，会有试音时间，大家可充分利用这段时间浏览听力试题。在浏览较长的选项时，先标注其中的关键信息，等听到该题时，就可以帮助大家进行判断。

2.听力不同于其他题型，容不得半分迟疑。很多同学就是因为多想了一会，结果错过了下道题的关键信息。所以，在平日的练习中，应该有意识地训练自己，不在一道题上用太多时间。

3.一旦在听音过程中遇到生词，要耐心且仔细地去听下面的内容，并记录相关信息。不要因为一个词没听懂而想半天。听力都是有连贯性的，一两个词听不懂并不会影响做题。

三、阅读

1.备选项中，含有绝对语气词的选项一般不是正确选项，这些绝对语气词有must，always，never，the most，all，merely，only，complete，everything，nobody等。选项中照抄原文或者似乎与原文内容一样的一般不是正确答案，而同义词替换的选项一般是正确答案。

2.正确选项中经常含有不肯定或委婉词汇，表述不绝对化。此类词汇有may，could，probably，sometimes，usually，often等。在推断题中，错误选项常含有绝对化词汇。如：never，always，absolutely，nothing，everyone，necessary，indispensable等。正确选项多是概括性选项，合乎常理且意思深刻;而照搬原文或对原文作字面解释的选项则不是正确答案。

3.若作者开篇提到某个观点，后面通过举例等进行论述时，往往是支持的态度。若作者开篇引用别人的观点，后面使用转折性词汇，往往是不支持或批评该观点。含绝对化词汇的选项多为错误选项。这些词汇有：indifference，completely，entirely，absolutely，unchecked等。
