生命之美源于自然，自然之美在于生机无限。自然给予我们生命，我们在自然中成长。

生命如河流，不舍昼夜。穿过一座座山一道道梁，一次次的战争一场场瘟疫，穿过纵横交错的千沟万壑和卷帙浩繁的竹简帛书。无数次跌倒了又爬起来，撕碎了再粘起来，终于来到这片沃野千里的平原上。青绿和蓝碧的皮肤已变成了大地的苍黄，但依然浩浩荡荡，横无际涯，朝晖夕阴，从不曾有过的平静。开阔与从容。仿佛一个历经沧桑的老者，一路坎坷与遍体鳞伤都化成了面向海洋的微笑和安详。

自然万物看似渺小，却美丽非常，因为它包含着生命。生命与自然和谐共存着。河流，川流不息，有着生命顽强的美;夏花，如此绚烂，有着生命灿烂的美;高山，峰壑争秀，有着生命尊严的美。但是，人们却破坏着这份美丽的和谐。

在华盛顿国家博物馆的展厅里，有一只旅鸽站在一根树枝上，长长的嘴，尖尖的尾巴，展翅欲飞。但它却永远的告别蓝天，它是世界上最后一只旅鸽，但确只是一个标本。本来旅鸽的数目不低于两亿只，但不幸的是它们成为了猎手的靶子和人类的美味，从此绝迹。不止是旅鸽还有成千上万的野生动植物，因为人类而彻底从世界上消失。荒漠化，沙尘暴，温室效应，水位上涨---这都是大自然对我们罪恶行径的一种控诉啊!

还听过这样一个故事：古时候，在我国江南某地有一个小官吏。一天，他接到一个出差的任务，是到当时的京城去送文件。他骑着一匹马匆匆上了路，傍晚，他歇宿在一个旅馆里。旅馆里有一口水井，井水冬暖夏凉，还有一丝淡淡的甘甜。小官吏喝着井水，感到旅途的辛劳减轻了不少。这口井为南来北往的人增添了许多美好的回忆。但这个小官吏是个自私自利的人，第二天早上他离开旅馆时，顺手便把马吃剩下的残草败根倒在了水井里。过了一个月左右，小官吏从京城办完事回来，又来到这家旅馆。他赶到这里时，天已完全黑了，经过一天的长途奔波，小官吏感到又累又渴，他便从水井里打水上来喝。由于天黑看不清水桶里的水，小官吏又渴得够呛，喝起水来如同牛饮一样，结果喝进去一根草秆。草秆卡在小官吏的喉咙里，吞又吞不下，吐又吐不出，不一会儿，小官吏就一命呜呼了。而这草秆正是他前次来的时候，倒在水井里的。
