Television的教学反思

本课的第一部分虽然只是学习六个电视节目的名称,但是这六个单词都很长,而且读起来有点绕口,结合学生实际的掌握情况,我将听力练习移到了下一个课时,这样,会有充分的时间帮助他们掌握,练习和消化这些新单词。如果单一的为了按部就班的完成教学任务,让学生掌握这些知识,学生会难以消化,会挫伤他们学习的积极性,因此必要时可以打破部分与部分之间的教学内容进行适当的调整。这样由点到面,由易到难,学生容易接受,事实证明也是如此。仅仅两个课时的时间,大部分学生就掌握了这六个单词,为后面各种句型的学习奠定了一个好的基础,让我得到了意外地惊喜。

本节课的知识目标是让学生在掌握了本单元所学习的六个电视节目的名称的基础上,能用句子“The…beginsat…。”表达出电视节目开始的时间,并能够正确完成第七部分的听力练习及句子的描述。学生在这节课中,看到一些电视节目的片断能用英语将它们正确地表达出来,达到了学以致用的目的。能力目标是培养学生的英语口语表达能力,用流利的英语来表达出电视节目开始的时间,这一部分的练习时间不够,所以有些学生还不能够用完整的句子将它表达出来,这一目标还有待在以后的教学中进行巩固训练。情感目标是培养学生树立信心,在小组活动中积极参与合作,能主动与他人交流,并克服交流中的困难,使交际顺利进行。

本节课结束后,学生对今天新句型的表达还是略显差了些,很多学生仍然害怕去说,去表达,教学目标没有完成的那么好,学生信心方面的`训练还是需要慢慢加强。

我能结合教学实践,选择和运用新型的教学模式,使教学达到艺术水平。根据教学过程中学生认识的不同阶段,灵活运用教学模式:热身-呈现-巩固。

第一步是热身活动(Warmingup)。热身活动是一种课前营造学习英语的氛围,引发学生学习英语动机的活动,我采用谈话形式开篇,带领学生将本单元学的内容进行了整体的回顾,逐步迈进今天崭新的课堂。

第二步就是呈现新知(Presentation)。这一部分根据教学情况的需要,又将它分成可几个小部分。首先,就是复习。由于每周才三节课,有的学生学完后把知识原原本本地都还给了老师,因此在呈现新知以前,我插入了一个复习部分。我很重视复习这个环节,这个部分在巩固已学知识的同时,也是在对他们进行一个小测试,可以清楚地了解到他们比较薄弱有待加强的地方。我在复习单词时通过猜猜看的游戏帮助了学生去运用英语。如:我在多媒体课件中,用图片、声音、动画等多种形式呈现出一些具体的电视节目,让学生通过看、听,来猜出这个电视节目的类型来,不仅有效地复习了节目类型的名称,也让学生能够正确运用和表达。通过这个游戏学生都很有兴致,很快地溶入到我设计好的教学情景中。

接下来呈现新知,我创设了恰当的情景,让学生在情景中感知语言并理解了语言,尝试去运用语言来表达出电视节目开始的时间。整个新授过程中,练习应该是占有非常重要的地位的,充分利用小组合作的练习方式,培养学生的合作与竞争意识,让学生在小组竞赛的形式中对所学知识进行了练习。

It is an electronic revolution of sorts, made possible by the marriage of television and computer technologies.

The word “television”, derived from its Greek (tele: distant) and Latin (visio: sight) roots, can literally be interpreted as sight from a distance. Very simply put, it works in this way: through a sophisticated system of electronics, television provides the capability of converting an image (focused on a special photoconductive plate within a camera) into electronic impulses, which can be sent through a wire or cable. These impulses, when fed into a receiver (television set), can then be electronically reconstituted into that same image.

Television is more than just an electronic system, however. It is a means of expression, as well as a vehicle for communication, and as such becomes a powerful tool for reaching other human beings.

The field of television can be divided into two categories determined by its means of transmission. First, there is broadcast television, which reaches the masses through broad-based airwave transmission of television signals. Second, there is nonbroadcast television, which provides for the needs of individuals or specific interest groups through controlled transmission techniques.

Traditionally, television has been a medium of the masses. We are most familiar with broadcast television because it has been with us for about thirty-seven years in a form similar to what exists today. During those years, it has been controlled, for the most part, by the broadcast networks, ABC, NBC, and CBS, who have been the major purveyors of news, information, and entertainment. 一、目标达成

本课的单词较简单,学生基本通能过字母组合去记忆其发音及拼写。

从guessing game到chant的层层铺垫,渗透课文的相关句型,学生能根据表格认真地观看课件再描述Xiaoling一家人喜爱的节目并回答课文相关问题,也能在老师指引下展开多种形式的朗读训练,经老师堂上即时抽查,发现学生朗读时的专注度也很高,已养成良好的朗读习惯。

有了Pre-task的bomb bomb game及make a new chant, 学生能很熟练地用I like … 和XX likes…去谈论自己和他人的喜好,自然引出了第三人称单数。通过谈论有关节目,学生能明白What programmes do you like?及What programmes does XX like? 的含义及运用,能流利表达自己喜爱的节目,并能在guessing game中灵活运用,学生非常投入,气氛热烈,初步感知了一般现在时的第三人称单数的特殊疑问句及应答。总体来说,本课的重点句型掌握较好,训练面较广,学生参与度高,基本上学生都能脱口表达自己喜爱的节目。

巩固拓展环节让学生根据片段填写表格,发现学生提取信息的能力较强。然后让他们先阅读全文,再根据表格再仿写,学生能分析归纳相关信息,再综合运用新旧句型进行。通过面批面改,发现大部分学生能用XX likes / looks…进行描述人物的喜好及外形, 第三从称单数的运用较好,只是极个别学生还是欠加s。也有部分学生会用He is cute来描述Jimmy外形,活学活用。

二、教学行为

堂整体来说,本课环节设计清晰有条理,过渡自然,重难点突出,板书设计清晰。

本节课的重难点虽然是第三人称单数的理解和运用,这个在post-task进行了巩固拓展,同时也发现他们较难运用There’s a …on TV at …去设计节目表,所以也有必要去针对这个句型进行机械操练,适时提点一下at,on 的用法。

本课情景性强,因此通过一系列学生熟悉的图片及歌曲创设情景,贴近学生生活实际,能有效调动学生学习积极性,突破本课重点句型,学生能较快地理解课文,认读对话。
