I am a thinker, but not one to think out loud. I love myself, but am not in love with the sound of my own voice. I want to be loved, but not at the cost of not loving myself. I want to know everything, but realize that nothing can ever be known for sure. I believe that nothing is absolute, but I can absolutely defend my beliefs. I understand that chance is prevalent in all aspects of life, but never leave anything important to chance. I am skeptical about everything, but realistic in the face of my skepticism. I respect the intimate connection between morality and law, but do not believe that either should unquestioningly respect the other.

I want to study the law and become a lawyer, but I do not want to study the law just because I want to become a lawyer. I am aware that the law and economics cannot always be studied in conjunction, but I do not feel that either one can be properly studied without an awareness of the other. I recognize there is more to the law than efficiency, but believe the law should recognize the importance of efficiency more than it does. I love reading about law and philosophy, but not nearly as much as I love having a good conversation about the two. I know that logic makes an argument sound, but also know that passion makes an argument sound logical. I have philosophical beliefs informed by economics and economic beliefs informed by philosophy, but I have lost track of which beliefs came first. I know it was the egg though.

I always think very practically, but do not always like to think about the practical. I have wanted to be a scientist for a while now, but it took me two undergraduate years to figure out that being a scientist does not necessarily entail working in a laboratory. I play the saxophone almost every day, but feel most like an artist when deduction is my instrument. I spent one year at a college where I did not belong and two years taking classes irrelevant for my major, but I have no regrets about my undergraduate experience. I am incredibly passionate about my interests, but cannot imagine being interested in only one passion for an entire lifetime.

I love the Yankees, but do not hate the Red Sox. I love sports, but hate the accompanying anti-intellectual culture. I may read the newspaper starting from the back, but I always make my way to the front eventually. I am liberal on some issues and conservative on others, but reasonable about all of them. I will always be politically active, but will never be a political activist. I think everything through completely, but I am never through thinking about anything.

I can get along with almost anyone, but there are very few people without whom I could not get along. I am giving of my time, but not to the point of forgetting its value. I live for each moment, but not as much as I worry about the next. I consider ambition to be of the utmost importance, but realize that it is useless without the support of hard work. I am a very competitive person, but only when competing with myself. I have a million dreams, but I am more than just a dreamer. I am usually content, but never satisfied.

一、前期费用

I have acquired a keen interest in computing over a prolonged amount of time. This has been further enhanced since I began studying ICT at GCSE level and onwards to A-Level. In addition this has maintained my long term interest in all computer related areas. From my studies, and self teaching, I already have a depth of knowledge about many of the key areas of programming and the principles behind the working and implementation of web based design. I feel that ICT is becoming incredibly important throughout our daily lives and I am thrilled by the fact that I could be right at the centre of the next exciting chapter of the computing generation. My ambition is to study this type of course at a degree level incorporating a management perspective and progress this further to make it my profession. I will strive in all areas to develop my talents and capabilities fully.

As regards work experience, I spent three days working at my local Argos store. During these days I worked very closely with the management team, and did a lot of beneficial work with their computer systems. I was given jobs that included creating payroll systems for the employees, arranging a working schedule for the coming weeks and helping with the creation of price tickets and labels. I was committed to all tasks which were given to me as I was keen to create a good impression, show my capabilities and set a high acceptable standard. These few days helped broaden my knowledge of a computing environment and also allowed me to apply my skills in a business/retail industry.

My college experience this far has provided me with the skills needed to succeed at the highest level. ---甲方是《自费出国留学中介服务管理规定》及国家相关法律法规中确定的符合条件的自费出国留学人员，同时已完成在国内大学的规定课程；甲方计划前往美国底特律大学(universityofdetroitmercy),兹委托乙方提供自费留学服务；

---在签订协议之前，甲方确认：

1.乙方已全面明确地介绍甲方委托办理的国家及学校的性质、费用、入学资格、申请入学方式，以及办理护照、签证之程序；

2.对本协议所涉及的全部内容具有完全正确的理解.

甲乙双方经协商一致签订以下条款：

一、委托服务事项:

1.1乙方根据底特律大学提供的材料向甲方介绍留学国家和申请学校的情况；

3.2.6按照本协议的规定按时向乙方交纳相关费用；

3.2.7甲方须自行承担自己因办理出国留学而引起的误工、辞职、失业、辍学等责任；

3.2.8甲乙双方只在办理出国留学手续上存在双方约定的法律关系。甲方的留学申请若成功，其出国后的一切人身合法权益受所去国的法律管辖及中国驻该国使馆的保护，乙方不承担任何直接或连带责任；

3.2.9甲方必须将所有收到的美国校方录取信及i-20表交付乙方，否则乙方有权终止本协议，且不退还甲方所有已交费用；

四、服务费用及支付方式

4.1支付方式及金额

(1)甲方与乙方签订本协议书同时,甲方应向乙方交纳项目管理费600美金，此费用包含：乙方为本项目确保美国学校之长期认可，同时为学员提供留学咨询、留学规划辅导、最新留学资讯、转学分资料审查之费用，以及海外服务费用包括接机、安排住宿、学习辅导、生活辅导、联络家长、紧急情况的联络与处理。(2)在乙方为甲方办理留学申请并获得学校录取通知书交予甲方时，甲方向乙方交纳服务费18000元整(注：美国学校申请费、申请资料的国际快递费和使馆要求交纳的其他签证相关费用由学生自行承担，不包含在此服务费中)。

4.2退费原则

4.2.1甲乙双方签订本服务协议书后,如甲方因个人原因终止办理时,所交费用不予退还,甲方则应将底特律大学录取通知书及其相关文件原件退还乙方,并视为本合同终止；

4.2.2甲乙双方签订本服务协议书后,如甲方在委托乙方申请的同时,又委托其它第三方申请或自行申请,所造成的一切不利于执行本协议的后果,由甲方自行承担,乙方不承担任何责任且不退还任何已收费用，并视为本合同终止；

4.2.3如申请人的签证被拒达三次时(第二次和第三次签证乙方不再收取任何费用,但签证费由甲方自理),甲方须将已收到的入学许可原件交还乙方，而乙方应在7个工作日内将已收到的服务费退还甲方、并不承担其他责任或经由甲乙双方协商另行决定；

五、协议生效与终止

5.1本协议自签约之日起生效

5.2本协议在履行过程中，若乙方发现甲方提供虚假学历及相关证明材料,则有权终止协议，并不予退还甲方所缴的任何费用；

5.3乙方协助甲方获得签证后，如因甲方个人原因不能按期入学或放弃入学所造成的一切损失由甲方自负，乙方不予退还任何已收费用，同时本协议自行终止；

六、争议解决条款

双方因履行本协议条款而发生争议时，双方应友好协商解决，如协商未果则应由北京仲裁委员会进行仲裁，该仲裁为终局裁决，败诉方并须承担裁决费用；

七、不可抗力条款

双方均不承担出于不可抗拒因素而造成办理过程的延误和拒签责任，前述不可抗力指不能预见，对其发生和后果不能克服、避免的情况，包括但不限于战争、自然灾害、签证政策变化、外交冲突、政局变化、重大流行性疾病、法律、法规的变化以及政府行为等；

八、甲方为本协议履行而向乙方提供的所有信息，乙方保证仅用于为甲方提供本协议项下的服务，不得用于其它用途。

九、附则

8.1本协议一式两份，甲乙双方各持一份，具有同等法律效力；

8.2本协议未尽事宜，经双方协商一致，达成补充协议，作为本协议不可分割之部分。

办理自费出国留学手续，是一项严肃、认真、繁杂的操作过程，必须在一定时间内，按照一定的步骤完成一定的程序，完成整个程序，即办完全部留学手续，大约需要4个月到1年的时间，具体手续如下：

乙方：河北大学化学与环境科学学院20XX级专业学生

为适应高等教育国际化的新趋势，推进河北大学人才培养国际化战略，提高本科人才培养质量和竞争力，甲方选拔河北大学在校生赴河北大学友好院校法国赛尔齐-蓬多瓦兹大学交流学习，乙方自愿报名参加该项目并即将办理赴法学习签证等手续，甲、乙双方经友好协商，达成如下协议：

二、联合培养项目情况

1、科学与技术(理工科)专业英法双语项目可提供在英语作为教学语言，法语作为第二外语的双语大学环境下，完成大学第一阶段即学士(Licence)的学习。被录取的学生将直接进入学士第一年的专业学习。第一学年采用英语授课，同时学习法语;第二学年50%的专业课为英语授课，选修课为法语授课;第三学年学生可以根据自己的志愿选择攻读的专业方向。该学士文凭为法国国家文凭，获得该文凭的学生可继续攻读各类硕士(二年制)或法国工程师文凭(学制三年)。乙方学生将同时学习两门联合国通用语言(英语、法语)

2、项目采用1+3学习模式，即本科阶段第一年学生在河北大学学习，后三年在法国赛尔齐—蓬多瓦兹大学学习。

三、关于学生管理

该项目教学和学生管理归属于河北大学国际合作处/国际交流与教育学院。

1、学籍管理

(1)乙方学生在河北大学学习期间，学籍管理办法同我校普通本科生等同。乙方学生在法国学习期间，河北大学保留乙方的学籍。

(2)乙方在我校第一年修读的课程及成绩、学分，由法国赛尔齐-蓬多瓦兹大学教务部门根据有关规定予以认可。

(3)乙方在法国学习期间应遵守法国赛尔齐-蓬多瓦兹大学的各项管理规定。

(4)乙方在法国赛尔齐-蓬多瓦兹大学修读的课程及成绩、学分，由法国赛尔齐-蓬多瓦兹大学直接寄往甲方，甲方根据河北大学有关规定协调河北大学有关部门予以认可。

(5)根据两校的合作协议，乙方修得的学分两校互相认可。

(6)乙方在法国学习期间，甲方将在适当的时候负责协调把乙方河北大学的学籍转到与在法国学习的相同或相近专业。

(7)乙方在河北大学期间第一年课程全部合格，并且在法国期间全部课程合格，获得赛尔齐-蓬多瓦兹大学毕业证及学士学位证书;河北大学将认同并为其颁发与在法国学习的相同或相近专业的河北大学毕业证书、学位证书。

2、其它管理

(1)按照与法方合作协议，乙方应在法国学习三年。但如因签证等问题未能按时赴法国，乙方将继续留在我校相应专业学习，修完计划内的全部课程，成绩合格，颁发河北大学毕业证、河北大学学士学位证书。

(2)乙方在法国学习期间必须遵守当地的法律、派往学校的规定及社会风俗习惯，接受派往学校的管理。

(3)乙方在法国学习期间人身安全等事项责任自负，甲方将提供必要的、可能的协助。

(4)乙方在派往学校学习期满后应按时返校，不得擅自延长或转往其他国家或地区。被法国或国外其它大学录取读硕士或博士者，应及时通告甲方。

(5)乙方在出国期间户口、档案等等保留与在河北大学学习时相同。

四、关于费用

1、在法国学习期间，乙方应向河北大学正常缴纳学费。

As a preceding project of developing a cellular telephone that uses satellite telecommunication technology, we developed GSM/DCS dual band cellular telephone (SGH-2200). In this project, I developed a MMI (Man Machine Interfaces) of SGH-2200 using Visual Basic for the menu frame and Borland C++ for the main modules. I also developed a GINI debugging tool that analyzed the content of signals between phone and base stations in a GSM network. Moreover, I went on business trips to Europe to test our product in the field where service providers operate GSM networks, and on these business trips, I acquired practical experience in the field.

While developing telecommunication network systems in several countries, I was strongly motivated in applying both theory and practice in research. For example, I learned about the relevant theories in university and acquired the professional and technical skills in designing and implementing products in the field. Literature unites everything that I find exhilarating about life, and most of my spare time is taken up with reading. To me, literature and the written word is mankind's greatest achievement, which is why I am determined to dedicate my life to its study. I am not content with simply reading a text, as I have a hunger to learn everything I can about what I read - how it was written; why it was written; what it means; its place in literature as a whole.

I read a catholic range of literature. I particularly enjoy Romantic poetry, as I find it to be an intriguing example of how literature can be used to make a stand against society's established codes, as poets rebelled against previous literary traditions and, contrary to the doctrines of neo-classical literature, focused on emotions and on the individual. Another example of such a rebellion, and another area of fascination to me, is the dystopian novel of the twentieth century. My favourite examples include Orwell's '1984' and 'Animal Farm', Golding's 'Lord of the Flies' , Bradbury's 'Fahrenheit 451' and Huxley's 'Brave New World'. Many of these great works were inspired by, and reacted against, the rise of political extremists during the first half of the century. These works are also often highly satirical, a style which I admire and which has lead me to read works such as Pope's 'The Rape of the Lock', Heller's 'Catch-22' and Ben Elton's cynically satirical plays. I also appreciate the novels of Jane Austen, especially the witty Gothic satire 'Northanger Abbey'.

I see literature as both a cause and an effect of history, and so I study history in order to fully appreciate the context of a piece of writing. I find it fascinating how one's knowledge of a historical period can alter one's interpretation of a text. Also, I believe that the study of art can contribute to one's understanding of literary background, for example in the way that Blake's paintings can give an insight into his mind, and thus his poetry. At the end of year 12 I attended a ten-day residential course at Eton College to study English literature.
