据前瞻产业研究院发布的《共享单车项目商业计划书》数据显示，中国单车租赁市场规模将达0.54亿元，用户规模将达425.16万人，预计中国单车租赁市场规模将上升至1.63亿元，用户规模将达1026.15万人。在未来几年，众多共享单车企业会持续入局，刺激共享单车向越来越多的城市延伸。
不管这是不是一门好生意，共享自行车领域已经开始成为关注的焦点。今年8月中旬，摩拜单车宣布获得来自熊猫资本和愉悦资本的千万级别B轮融资，随后进入北京。9月2日，校园自行车共享项目ofo也宣布获得经纬中国领投、金沙江、唯猎资本跟投的数千万美元B轮融资。与此同时，摩拜近日已经开始涉足ofo所专注的校园市场。
