书会让你懂得很多，从《鲁宾逊漂流记》中，让你学会独立、坚强；从《海底两万里》中，学会探索、勇敢；从《钢铁是怎样炼成的》中，学会坚强、勇敢。在书的世界中，你会因为林黛玉的遭遇而叹息；会因为鲁宾逊所处的境地而感到同情；会因为孙悟空消灭妖怪而感到高兴。所以，书可以改变我们的心情：当我们因面对某些使人讨厌的事而感到不高兴时，当我们对生活感到迷茫时，当我们对身边的事物感到不满时，当我们因被被人误会而感到委屈时。那么，你不妨拿起自己所喜欢的书细细品读，当你读完字己所拿的那本书时，心里应该舒畅多了吧。
没有永久的朋友，只有永久的利益。其实这句话是错误的。书就是我们的朋友。不会因为利益而和我们交朋友，我们可以没有妒忌的付出自己的心，与书轻松的交流。
当你和书成为朋友时，你的生活将变得丰富多彩。你便可想而知，如果你的身边没有了书，是鱼儿没有了水；如果你的身边没有了书，是没有一缕阳光的春天；如果你的身边没有了书，是没有任何颜色的图画；如果你的身边没有了书，是没有一朵花的花园；如果你的身边没有了书，是没有一只鸟的树林。
所以，书是我们生活中必不可少的，在读书节中，让我们去阅读跟多的书，结识更多的朋友。让我们放下手中的游戏机和电脑，去陶冶自己的情操。

社会发展了，人们的物质生活富有了，也更需要精神方面的满足。书也就成了人们生活中必不可少的一部分。它是我们的“精神食粮”，不断地给予我们知识，充实我们的生活。为了鼓励同学们多读书，读好书，让读书成为一种习惯，让书香溢满校园，我校在4月20日到24日之间举办了“新华杯东坎实小第二届读书节”。
高尔基曾经说过：“书籍是人类进步的阶梯。”是啊，这句话说得一点儿也没错。作为一个现代人，就会缺少文化内涵。你别小看书，它的作用可多着呢！书可以丰富我们的知识，可以开阔我们的视野，让我们明辨是非，让我知道什么是真善美……书的确好处很多呀！我们国家是一个有着灿烂文化的文明古国，古诗文就是这个灿烂文化中的瑰宝。学校提倡我们读古诗文，走进经典，可我发现有一些同学他们并不爱读古诗文。理由是古诗文一般意思不好懂。在我读了一些古诗文、《论语》后渐渐发现了她的魅力，也开始喜爱她了。
在读书期间学校开展了许多活动：现场作文比赛、古诗文背诵比赛等。这些活动使我们体会到了读书的快乐。在读书节的闭幕式上，最后一项是古诗文经典诵读展示。我以为它应该没有什么可表演的。因为小小的古诗文才那么几个字，节目表演的时间却那么长，肯定不精彩。可我没想到那些演员们把古诗要表达的思想感情体现得淋漓尽致，真令人佩服。使我便不敢小看古诗文，也喜爱古诗文了。闭幕式那天，我们真开心。
朋友们，读书节只是一个活动，但我们要以这个活动为楔机，一起来读书，一起体验读书的乐趣吧！
篇21：读书节作文
上周五，我们学校有一场盛会，它是什么？当然是读书节！
上午是书籍通关游园，我在四年级八个班中来回穿梭，而我是第二轮考官，但我竟然得了十七颗星，还没有时间冲突。想知道它的秘密是什么？因为我有“快速通行证”。
在四（六）班时的最后一题的答案令我大跌眼镜：蟋蟀柴斯特爱吃香肠，蟋蟀吃香肠？太“逆天”了吧，尽管我答对了。
下午的书市，人流如织，一大群“书店”如雨后春笋般冒出来。我们的“书店”为了促进买卖，特意制作了抽签盒，让“顾客”们驻足下来。我们小组最终赚了158元，但大家殊不知的是，其实很多书是我买的。
正因为此事，我作了一首诗：
书方无际好，只虚不尽数。一愁莫展眉，吾人掏腰包。
