由“黎巴嫩文坛骄子”卡里·纪伯伦所著,曾刊登在11月号CR上的《沙与沫》着实给不少老读者留下了深刻的印象。而这期,我们要奉上纪伯伦的另一首同样流传很广的诗歌——《论孩子》。相信这首诗歌道出了不少“儿女”的心声,也给“望子成龙”心切的父母们上了一课。无疑,出于各种原因,父母们常忽视了教育最为重要的目标之一——培养独立人格。他们总喜欢干预子女的一切重大人生选择(他们将此视为“爱”),毕竟在他们看来,孩子不仅是他们爱情的结晶,更是他们生命的延续,意义非凡。而对于一些父母,孩子就像他们脸上的“光彩”,在一定程度上代表着他们的社会地位和生活水平。他们把子女看作自己的“明天”,企图让子女实现他们未尽的梦想,似乎孩子不过是他们思想的衍生品。殊不知孩子就像他们一样,有着自己的思想,而这些思想中,不乏闪光点。而青春期的叛逆更多也是源于孩子对“独立人格”的觉醒。

婚姻是爱情的殿堂，孩子是爱情的结晶。 用一首On Marriage为殿堂高举起明灯后，纪伯伦又以同样的哲理和细腻给这美丽而脆弱的结晶打造了基座。独立人格是教育最为重要的目标之一,但我们“君君臣臣父父子子”的文化往往让很多父母忽略了这一点。子女就像他们昂贵的衣服;漂亮的首饰;擦拭一新的汽车，代表他们的社会地位和生活水平。他们把子女当成自己的延伸，想让子女实现他们未尽的梦想，逼着喜欢读书的儿子走上足球场;迫使喜欢运动的女儿苦读书本,似乎孩子不过是他们的复制品，殊不知DNA的结合将会创造出人类一切创造的来源——全新的生命和思想。青春期的叛逆很多时候只是本能觉醒出的独立人格的一种自我救赎。
