词汇部分：词汇题难度适中，再一次体现了六级考试的特点：考词重复率高。考生只要把历年真题中的题作熟就可以拿到相当的分数，主要考察名词、动词、形容词三大词形，稍稍出了以外的是居然一道词组题都没有。稍难的题目有47题、48题、64题等。
改错部分：难度一般，上过辅导班或对改错规律比较熟悉的考生，拿到大部分分并不是一件难事。错误设置相当典型，如：第1题、第4题（并列词的词性的一致性）、第6题（现在分词和过去分词误用）、第9题（副词修饰形容词）、第10题（反义），第3题、第7题属于常用搭配有误。

本次四级考试难度不是太难，属于正常难度。且跟以往相比趣味性有所加强，我们从中可以获得一个信息：“let’s have fun in learning english.”。只是作文的格式学生比较陌生，但是六级曾经考过类似类型和出现类似提纲。
