背文言文翻译有用吗
一、朗读
学习文言文一定要多读，形成语感。读要做到三点：
1、读准字音。
一般地说，读音应以现代普通话为标准，对于一些异读字（一个字有两个以上读法），要根据具体语境处理。
2、读准句读（dòu）。
句读，是指文词停顿的地方。平时要多积累一些停顿的规律，没有接触过的句式可参照现代汉语的停顿。
3、读准语气。
依据作者的生平和写作背景朗读课文，感知文章的情感基调，正确处理诵读的语气键。脱离了朗读的环节，独立地学习文言文的词语和句式，往往是事倍功半，解决不了应当解决的问题。
二、翻译
提高文言文的翻译水平，不能乞求于一次的努力，要细水长流，持之以恒，以多练为主，靠平时的日积月累，才能有成效。
“信、达、雅”是翻译文言文的早已立下的规章。
“信”，就是译文要忠于原文，不能歪曲原意，任意地添油加醋；“达”，就是通顺、流畅，符合现代汉语的习惯要求；
“雅”，就是翻译文言文的语句，要生动、优美，富含情感。其中，信是最主要、最基本的。具体地讲，翻译时要注意以下几点。
1、力求字字落实，以直译为主。直译就是按照原文词性、词序和句式，逐词逐句翻译，以意译为辅。
2、凡属人名、地名、朝代、年号、官制、书名等专有名词，可以照录，不用翻译。
3、文言文中有些特殊句式，如倒置、前置等现象句式，一定要按照现代汉语的语法习惯翻译。
4、文言文中省略的现象也很普遍，为使翻译的语句清楚流畅，翻译时，要把省略的句子成分补出来，不能缺失。
5、有些词（特别是文言虚词），在句子中只起语法作用，无实在的意义，可以不译。例如：曹刿曰：“夫战，勇气也”中的“夫”字，是发语词，可不译。译文为曹刿回答说：“打仗是要凭勇气的.”。
三、背诵
学生要能背诵一定数量的文言文名篇，起码语文教材中指定的篇目，能熟练地背诵。
背诵能加深学生对文言文的整体感知和理解程度，也是一种语言能力的训练。
中学生应当重视古代诗文的背诵能力，在学习中积极训练，切实提高背诵能力的水平。
背诵时，可以采用抄写背诵法。就是把所要背诵的课文，抄写几遍。
在抄写的过程中，加强记忆，达到背诵的目的。
好处是既背诵了课文，又掌握了比较难辨认的字形，背默写同时完成。也可以采用听读背诵法，即听他人反复朗读，加强记忆达到背诵的一种方法。
还可以采用分层理解背诵法，即针对课文一层一层的理解，逐层逐层地背诵，最后连起来，完成全篇的背诵任务。
刚才提到的几种方法，都是传统的死记硬背式的方法。
最好用的还是通过右脑的联想的记忆方法，我曾经用联想的记忆宫殿技巧，4天时间就把整本《道德经》做到倒背如流。当然，不仅仅是我，我辅导的学生，基本上都能在很短（一天）的时候，将《三字经》、《弟子规》等做到倒背如流的。
所以说，方法很关键。
其实不仅仅是古文，运用这些方法，整本英语课本也能很轻易的背下来。
四、理解
学习文言文实词，不必去记一些术语，应该侧重掌握实词的含义。引起学生产生异义的主要是古今异义、一词多义的现象，需要下一番真功夫，去识记。最忌望文生义。
通假字也应注意，应当记住教材中出现的通假字，否则就不能准确地理解文章的内容。
文言虚词中，对个别可能导致句子误解、误译的虚词，应当有所归纳，分清用法，明确意义。
文言文常用句式，最重要的是判断句式、倒装句式、省略句式，应当认识这些现象，正确的理解。了解了文言文语法的一些基本知识，就不妨碍理解课文内容了。了解课文的内容，
首先，要知道文中反映的中心思想是什么，作者选用了什么材料，又怎样安排材料的顺序和层次的；
第二，要知道课文选取材料，和安排顺序，有什么好处。可以同其他的文章进行对比，谈谈它的特点。
