――阿甘正传英语影评

Forrest Gump, the movie which I have watched for three times, is a film that surprised and moved me so much .It was based on the novel of Winston Groom while the hero is a famous actor―Tom Hanks. He performed so well all through the film that I enjoyed the warm human nature, the inspiration of belief and other virtues through any scene in it.

The female, a kind of role, is very essential in the film as it acts in the real society .As the Chinese saying goes, women hold up half the sky. In the life of Forrest Gump, there are two women―one is his great mother, the other is his lifelong lover, Jenny. They accounted for Forrest’s whole life.

At the beginning of the film, Mrs. Gump, Forrest’s mother, impressed me much .I think Forrest with an IQ of 75 was so lucky to own such a strong-minded and smart mother. She and her Forrest lived in Greenbow, Alabama, all on their own. She told Forrest he was no different than anybody else was though he braced his legs. Under her philosophical words, “life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get”, Forrest achieved marvelous success in his life step by step such as entering college, being awarded the Congressional medal of honour, being a gozillionaire and so on. She was just like any mother to love Forrest from the bottom of her heart and inspire him any time. In turn she was also proud of Forrest with happy smile in his college graduation ceremony and when he was awarded as a Vietnam War hero. Unfortunately, she was sick with a cancer and died on a Tuesday. At the end of her life, she still teached her son to accept death as a part of life and to pursue his own destiny. Though keeping far away in the heaven finally, I think this mother would still look at and bless her son.

Jenny was Forrest’s lifelong lover. They met each other in the school bus. In the film Jenny did many bad things to Forrest. From their childhood right on up Jenny and Forrest were good friends .They came to school together and grew with each other’s accompany. Finally though they stayed far away from each other, Forrest always loved his Jenny. No matter whatever she had done, whoever she was and wherever she stayed, Forrest still remained in the home of Alabama missing his girl and waiting for her return from day to night.

This is just Forrest Gump. This is his love. This is his Jenny.

I also thought of such scene: Forrest kept in the dorm of Jenny and Jenny asked about who he would dream to be. Forrest just gave an answer that he wanted to be himself. I am moved deeply by it because though he is a fool, Forrest knows what he really needs. As to him, he only wants to be himself and fall in love with a lady named Jenny.

Besides in another scene in Washington Jenny asked,“Why are you so good to me ?”, while Forrest’s answer was “You are my girl”。 Why is it not “I love you”?  Because there is no need of more words to express Forrest’s love to Jenny . It was not added with any limitations and no request of paying back. We can compare today’s love with Forrest’s and then gain the feeling of purity. At the end, Forrest Gump, the fool of Alabama, married his lover Jenny and had a little Forrest.

There are more to consider about Forrest Gump. I believe it is so excellent a movie and every one would be moved by Forrest Gump.

“Brave” is the latest animated film from Pixar, and therefore becomes the film the parents of the world will be dragged to by their kids. The good news is that the kids will probably love it, and the bad news is that parents will be disappointed if they're hoping for another Pixar groundbreaker. Unlike such brightly original films as “Toy Story,” “Finding Nemo,” “WALL-E” and “Up,” this one finds Pixar poaching on traditional territory of Disney, its corporate partner. We get a spunky princess; her mum, the queen; her dad, the gruff king, an old witch who lives in the woods, and so on.

The princess is Merida (voice of Kelly Macdonald), seen in an action-packed prologue as a flame-haired Scottish tomboy whose life is changed by an early birthday gift of a bow, which quickly inspires her to become the best archer in the kingdom. Then we flash forward to Merida as a young lady of marriageable age, who is startled by request from Queen Elinor (Emma Thompson) to choose among three possible husbands chosen by her clan.

Nothing doing, especially since all three candidates are doofuses. Merida leaps upon her trusty steed and flees into the forest, where her friends the will-o-the-wisps lead her to the cottage of a gnarled old witch (Julie Walters)。 She begs for a magic spell that will change Queen Elinor's mind, but it changes more than that: It turns Elinor into a bear. Witches never know how to stop when they're ahead.

Luckily, the magic spell comes with an escape clause. Merida has exactly two days to reverse the charm. After she and her mother absorb what has happened, they begin to work together and grow closer than ever, even though the queen cannot speak. There is a tricky complication. King Fergus (Billy Connolly) had his leg bitten off by a bear (in the prologue), and has been indisposed toward them ever since. Unsurprisingly, when he sees his wife as a bear, he fails to recognize her.

And so on. This is a great-looking movie, much enlivened by the inspiration of giving Merida three small brothers, little redheaded triplets. The Scottish Highlands are thrillingly painted in astonishing detail, and some action shows Merida's archery more than equal in assorted emergencies.

“Brave” has an uplifting message about improving communication between mothers and daughters, although transforming your mom into a bear is a rather extreme first step. Elinor is a good sport, under the circumstances. But Merida is far from being a typical fairy-tale princess. Having flatly rejected the three suitors proposed by her family, she is apparently prepared to go through life quite happily without a husband, and we can imagine her in later years, a weathered and indomitable Amazon queen, sort of a Boudica for the Scots. “Brave” seems at a loss to deal with her as a girl and makes her a sort of honorary boy.

阿甘正传英文影评

My favorite movie is Mr. A Gan,which I have being moved and inspired by the male leading character―Forrest Gump.

At the beginning of the movie, following the beautiful music , there is a beautiful feather dancing with the breeze. Finally lighting at the foot of Forrest Gump. The man who sits on the bentch and tells his life experience to the strangers .

Forrest Gump is unfortunately to be born with a low IQ and musele problem. Generally speaking by most people, this kind of person couldn’t be successful in doing anything. However ,he comes very successful through his struggling. What he narrates reflect the social changes. Many important events and people of American from the 1950s to the 1970s are shown fluently in his description of his life experience. So the film was passed to a intellectual disturbance person the description of life has reflected every aspect of U.S.A.’s life, important incident of social political life make and represent to these decades such as U.S.A. from one unique angle. Film adapt Winston novel of the same name of Groom since.

His mother had been playing a very important role in his life. when he sat on the bench on the side of the road, talking with the strangers, he would often start his theory with “ my mother said……”

My mother said “Life is like a box of chocolates, Forrest, you never know what you are going to get.”

My mother said” Don’t you be afraid sweet heart. Death is just a part of life. Something we are destined to do”

Gump’s mother is a clever woman. She can earn enough money to support her one parent family. She I is also optimistic. She never feels ashamed of her son. She is proud of her son. She never thinks Forrest is a fool. She wants her son can lead a life as an ordinary person. In order to let him study into school, she has sex with the headmaster. She is also intelligent. Every night she reads some books for Forrest and tells some simple truths to him. Gump was an extra docile child and he had kept all his mother words. He said apple head had his own ways of dealing with all kinds of things in life. Gump actually didn’t have much ambition and he also lost many valuable things. But he didn’t abandon himself to desperation. His love eternally continued. He already had a small Gump after all. So although he was not smart, he knew how to keep life hopeful and dynamic.

when we say that Forrest Gump is a lucky guy. I think most of you may think that he is so lucky to escape much trouble , but the “luck” is that he is so lucky to have such a good mother by my means. Gump has his own perseverance, keeping on running without of any reason, JUST RUNS. He said: “Man has look forward, and never encumbered by foretime. I thank that's the meaning of my running.” Say goodbye to foretime and don't stay in-place. Although so many people in the world are used to follow others and few people can stick to one thing, Gump does and becomes “GOD”。 There is another character Captain Dan. Dan lost his legs in Vietnarm War. He said that his fate is death in war. However, Forrest Gump saved him and let him be alive. After losing legs, Dan was decadent and disgusted with life, complaining that Gump shouldn’t save him. When he adjusted his mind, living on fishing with Gump , he started to enjoy the wonderful life and thank Gump’s help. The movie is intended to tell people that life is wonderful by this character. Rainbow is always after cloud. The key point is that whether we have a good mind and an opportunity to ourselves to change bad situation. The movie is also sent such a message to us: do well what we should do, and life will return us well. There will be a miracle if only there is perseverance.

There are full of philosophy in the movie. Many lines in this movie are classical. For example, life is a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get. In addition, the sentence that death is just a part of life, something we’re all destined to do is also of wisdom. They make us think of life profoundly.

On every stage of life, Gump had merely one target as his guidance of that temporary period. But he would strive persistently to accomplish it. I thought that must be his charm of personality.

However, most of the time, we just couldn’t be able to find the reason for what we had did or what we are doing now. And what seemed regretful was that we just resigned ourselves to giving up half the way. Life is that way. you don’t have to calculate the amount of your acquisition but just do it to the best of your ability. Then you will fly higher and higher. I believe firmly the higher you fly, the less far you will be away from the paradise in your heart. Thus, do not complain that you do not have something. Just like yourself and make your advantages better and better. So I think his success is by his sheer hard struggle instead of luck.

Last but not least, the pictures and the music in this film are rather beautiful. It begins with the beautiful scene: A white feather dances in the wind with the music gradually from soft to strong. In the sky, the feather is shinning brightly. At the end of this film, the feather appears with the wonderful music again. It creates a pure and peaceful world to us. In my view, life is just like a feather, which can be changeable with the breeze in the sky. We cannot control the breeze. What we can do is to adjust to the environment. We should take advantage of our advantages. And try our best to make us dancing more beautiful in the blue sky. Our IQ is higher than Forrest Gump, so we have ability to live better than Forrest. Just seek for a better life through work hard.

On the whole, this movie is special, inspiring, educational, philosophic and moving. I enjoy it every much. It is worthy of our appreciation for many times.

篇4:千与千寻影评 英文

千与千寻(Spirited Away)

Animated feature from Japanese master Hayao Miyazaki. A young girl finds herself trapped in a mystical realm, where she must find a way to save her parents - who have been turned into pigs There‘s something almost criminal about the way Spirited Away took over two years to reach Britain after its original Japanese release. In Japan, Hayao Miyazaki is both commercially successful (his films regularly beat box office records) and highly respected (Akira Kurosawa said: “I am somewhat disturbed when critics lump our works together. One cannot mimimise the importance of Miyazaki‘s work by comparing it to mine.”). In Britain, however, his work has barely got more than a few cursory arts venue screenings. At least Spirited Away - which took the Berlin Golden Bear in and the Best Animated Film Oscar in - made it. Better late than never.

After the stress of making his last film, ‘s Princess Mononoke, Miyazaki had a breakdown and retired. But he came out of retirement when an idea to create another, lighter film began to take shape. Princess Mononoke was an action-packed epic that ranged across 15th century Japan. For Spirited Away he returned to the quieter - but no less serious - themes that he addressed to a degree in 1988‘s My Neighbor Tortoro. Both films feature a family moving house, girls getting used to upheaval, and elements of ‘Alice In Wonderland‘. But where the 1988 film used a few specific motifs from Carroll‘s book (a plunge into a ‘rabbit hole‘, a version of the Cheshire cat), Spirited Away casts its 10-year-old protagonist, Chihiro (Hragi; or Chase in the US dub), fully into a Wonderland, a mystical otherworld populated by animal spirits and gods. Chihiro arrives in this realm by accident. Her parents, heading for their new home, take a road that leads into the woods. Arriving at a dead end, they walk down a corridor through a building and emerge in what dad takes to be “an abandoned theme park”. It‘s something like a Japanese Portmeirion, but eerily deserted. While her parents greedily help themselves to food, Chihiro wanders off and meets Haku (Irino; or Marsden), a boy who warns her to leave before dark. She‘s too late though - a lake has appeared, blocking her route, ghostly forms have populated the town and her parents have turned into pigs. She‘s trapped.

The only way to survive, Haku tells her, is to get work in the bath house that dominates the town. Here “eight million gods rest their weary bones”, according to Yubaba (Natsuki; or Pleshette), the witch who runs the establishment. Chihiro makes her way to meet Yubaba with the help of Kamajii (Sugawara; Ogden Stiers), a multi-limbed codger who runs the boiler house, Lin (Tamai; Egan), a serving woman with a taste for “roasted newt”, and even a ‘Radish God‘, a giant sumo of a chap with tuber-like appendages. Yubaba is hardly forthcoming - her realm is “no place for humans” - but she‘s forced to give Chihiro work, thanks to an oath she swore. Chihiro gets work helping Lin. But the management give them the worst jobs - such as assisting a hideous oozing creature they take to be a “Stink God; an extra large stinker at that”. It‘s an entity so foul its smell makes food rot instantaneously, while its suppurations fill the room with a noxious gloop.

Chihiro - or Sen as she becomes when Yubaba takes her name as part of her contract - does get by in the bath house, but it‘s not without further incident. She may lose her identity, but she retains her decency. One act of kindness results in a dangerous spirit, No Face, getting into the bath house and wreaking havoc by playing on the greed of the other employees (“Gold springs from his palms!”). She even gets involved in an adventure that reveals her mysterious bond with Haku. But can she save her parents? It‘s often said that Katsuhiro Otomo‘s Akira (1988) is the greatest anime ever. That‘s as maybe, but every one of Miyazaki‘s films is a masterpiece, so it‘s hard to pick just one that stands out. It‘s also tricky to compare his works with the more traditionally received notion of anime (giant robots, demons with phallic tentacles, telekinetic fighting, atom bomb-style explosions etc).

Although Miyazaki insists it‘s not his role to be didactic, all of his work (notably his second feature Nausicaa Of The Valley Of The Wind and Princess Mononoke) has strong messages about ecology and the human relationship with the natural world. But he‘s also fascinated with coming-of-age stories, notably about how girls (many of his protagonists are young females) can not only face up to adult responsibility, but also how they can become strong, principled members of society. Here Chihiro is forced to grow up fast, but the process, while gruelling, is not without real benefits, as her understanding of the way society functions and experience of adult emotions develops exponentially.

Some aspects of the film are likely to be too foreign for Westerners - we‘re ignorant of Japanese belief systems, with their hierarchies of entities - but Miyazaki‘s work has the power to transcend such culturally specific elements. While many of his earlier films drew on European stories (such as 1986‘s Castle In The Sky, from Swift), the folkloric features he reworks are often universal. But most of all, his team‘s animation - here utilising more digital techniques, while still being grounded in 2D traditions - is always beautiful and, in places, breathtaking. Locations are atmospheric, details are immaculate (you can identify the flower species in the gardens) and characters are diverse. Yubaba, for example, is a bizarre creation, a stocky woman with a huge head and even bigger hairdo; the bath house itself is stocked with all sorts of weird and wonderful creatures, from a Kermit-like assistant, to creatures reminiscent of his cuddly woodland deity from My Neighbor Tortoro, to troll-like beasts that look related to Maurice Sendak‘s ‘Wild Things‘). The only factor that could be seen as mildly misjudged is J Hisaishi‘s score, which is overbearing in places.

My favorite movie

My favorite movie is directed by Miyazaki Hayao. The first time I saw this film is in junior high school. Up to this day, I have seen it countless times, but never tire of seeing. Spirited Away casts its 10-year-old protagonist, Chihiro, falls into a mystical world dominated by animal spirits. Chihiro arrives in this realm by accident. Her parents, when heading for their new home, take a road that leads into the woods. Arriving at a dead end, they walk down a corridor through a building and emerge in an abandoned theme park. While her parents greedily eat the food, Chihiro wanders off and meets Haku, a boy who warns her to leave before dark. But she's too late. A lake has appeared, blocking her route, ghostly forms have dominated the town and her parents have turned into pigs. She's trapped.

Haku tells her the only way to survive is to get a work in the bath house that

dominated by Yubaba. Chihiro makes her way to meet Yubaba with the help of Kamajii, a multi-limbed codger who runs the boiler house. Yubaba is hardly forthcoming - her realm is “no place for humans” - but she's forced to give Chihiro work, thanks to an oath she swore. Chihiro gets work helping Lin.

At the bathhouse, Yubaba reveals that Chihiro must pass one more task as part of Haku's deal: identify which pigs in the huge herd are her parents. Chihiro passes the test, as she states that none of them are her parents, and Yubaba is forced to let her and her family go.

Miyazaki is fascinated with Coming-of-Age stories, notably about how girls (many of his protagonists are young females) can not only face up to adult responsibility, but also how they can become strong, principled members of society. Here Chihiro is forced to grow up fast, but the process, while gruelling, is not without real benefits, as her

understanding of the way society functions and experience of adult emotions develops exponentially.

篇8: 阿甘正传英文影评

I've never met anyone like Forrest Gump in a movie before, and for that matter I've never seen a movie quite like “Forrest Gump.”Any attempt to describe him will risk ma-ki-ng the movie seem more conventional than it is, but let me try. It's a edy, I guess. Or maybe a drama. Or a dream.

The screenplay by Eric Roth has the plexity of modern fiction, not the formulas of modern movies. Its hero, played by Tom Hanks, is a thoroughly decent man with an IQ of 75, who manages between the 1950s and the 1980s to bee involved in every major event in American history. And he survives them all with only honesty and niceneas his shields.

And yet this is not a heartwarming story about a mentally retarded man. That cubbyhole is much too small and limiting for Forrest Gump. The movie is more of a meditation on our times, as seen through the eyes of a man who lacks cynicism and takes things for exactly what they are. Watch him carefully and you will understand why some people are criticized for being “too clever by half.” Forrest is clever by just exactly enough.

Tom Hanks may be the only actor who could have played the role.

I can't think of anyone else as Gump, after seeing how Hanks makes him into a person so dignified, so straight-ahead. The per formance is a breathtaking balancing act between edy and sadness, in a story rich in big laughs and quiet truths.

Forrest is born to an Alabama boardinghouse owner (Sally Field) who tries to correct his posture by ma-ki-ng him wear braces, but who never criticizes his mind. When Forrest is called “stupid,” his mother tells him, “Stupid is as stupid does,” and Forrest turns out to be incapable of doing anything lethan profound. Also, when the braces finally fall from his legs, it turns out he can run like the wind.

That's how he gets a college football scholarship, in a life story that eventually bees a running gag about his good luck. Gump the football hero bees Gump the Medal of Honor winner in Vietnam, and then Gump the Ping-Pong champion, Gump the shrimp boat captain, Gump the millionaire stockholder (he gets shares in a new “fruit pany” named Apple Computer), and Gump the man who runs acroAmerica and then retraces his steps.

It could be argued that with his IQ of 75 Forrest does not quite understand everything that happens to him. Not so. He understands everything he needs to know, and the rest, the movie suggests, is just surplus. He even understands everything that's important about love, although Jenny, the girl he falls in love with in grade school and never falls out of love with, tells him, “Forrest, you don't know what love is.” She is a stripper by that time.

The movie is ingenious in taking Forrest on his tour of recent American history. The director, Robert Zemeckis, is experienced with the magic that special effects can do (his credits include the “Back to the Future” movies and “Who Framed Roger Rabbit”), and here he uses puterized visual legerdemain to place Gump in historic situations with actual people.

Forrest stands next to the schoolhouse door with George Wallace, he teaches Elvis how to swivel his hips, he visits the White House three times, he's on the Dick Cavett show with John Lennon, and in a sequence that will have you rubbing your eyes with its realism, he addresses a Vietnam-era peace rally on the Mall in Washington. Special effects are also used in creating the character of Forrest's Vietnam friend Lt. Dan (Gary Sinise), a Ron Kovic type who quite convincingly loses his legs.

Using carefully selected TV clips and dubbed voices, Zemeckis is able to create some hilarious moments, as when LBJ examines the wound in what Forrest describes as “my butt-ox.” And the biggest laugh in the movie es after Nixon inquires where Forrest is staying in Washington, and then remends the Watergate. (That's not the laugh, just the setup.) As Forrest's life bees a guided tour of straight-arrow America, Jenny (played by Robin Wright) goes on a parallel tour of the counterculture.

She goes to California, of course, and drops out, tunes in, and turns on. She's into psychedelics and flower power, antiwar rallies and love-ins, drugs and needles. Eventually it bees clear that between them Forrest and Jenny have covered all of the landmarks of our recent cultural history, and the acmodation they arrive at in the end is like a dream of reconciliation for our society. What a magical movie.

汤姆・汉克斯可能是唯一的演员谁能够发挥的作用.

I can't think of anyone else as Gump, after seeing how Hanks makes him into a person so dignified, so straight-ahead. The per formance is a breathtaking balancing act between edy and sadness, in a story rich in big laughs and quiet truths.

我不想别人看到阿甘,汉克斯使他为人凝重,所以勇往直前.绩效是一个惊人的平衡之间的喜剧和悲伤,在故事的丰富大笑着安静的真理.

篇10: 阿甘正传英文影评

Although jeny died, the code is consummate.their little child is clever and their will be happy.

I appriate and like the film very much.one hand the film tells several stories clearly in limited time.the content is affluent and the tie of charactors is plex but clear.on the other hand ,we can get revelations from it.first,if you want to be happy, you must treat youself correctly.if you take your weakness seriously,it will be exaggerated and effect you in bad factors.in fact sometimes your weakness is just your luck.second, when you intend to try somehing ,do your best.if only you put your heart into it and don't mind anything else, you will success.third,be an honest and genuine man.you offer you kindness to others and in return you will get more.last,we should treasure what we own now,and express your life freely.

The film worthes our attention.

To be honest, this is the first time i ever write a review of a movie. and this beginning is a tough one―with an oscar winner as its subject, surrounding which there is considerably controversy over the values it has questioned, the thoughts it tried to implicitly convey, and the art of the movie itself.

The following discussion will go on as a dissection of this movie into several aspects. this dissection is, however, necessarily inprehensive, and i would just try to make it a original review in the eyes of a busy, yet inspirational student of science who, from time to time, glances at the palace of arts with admiration and, more importantly, love.

Forrest gump who is unfortunately to be born with a lower iq and the muscle problem, usually, people always think this kind of person can't be successful in doing anything. but, instead, this unlucky man has achieved lots of incredible success, he is a football star, a war hero, and later a millionaire!

In the contention of the best picture of the 67th oscar award in 1995, filmhave got six grand prixes , such as the best picture , the best actor , the best achievement in directing , adapting drama , the best achievement in film editing and the best visual effect bestly ,etc. at one blow . the film was passed to a intellectual disturbance person the description of life has reflected every aspect of u.s.a.'s life, important incident of social political life make and represent to these decades such as u.s.a. from one unique angle.

film adapt winston ・ novel of the same name of groom since. only the original work is that one is full of fantastic novels with a satiric flavour, but the film modifies and beautifies the story. have abandoned the absurdity of the original work and revealed that satirizes meaning , have added a kind of tender feeling for the film. this undoubtedly makes the film suit audience and judging panel's taste even more, but has sacrificed the struggle spirit of the rebel of the original work , make the film bee one kind and idealize ethical symbol.

Leggenda del pianista sull'oceano,la

Take a piano. The keys begin, the keys end. You know there are eightyeight of them, nobody can tell you any different. They are not infinite. You are infinite. And on these keys the music that you can make is infinite. I like that. That I can live by.

What I didn't see. In all that sprawling city there was everything except an end. There was no end. What I did not see was where the whole thing came to an end. The end of the world...

You get me up on that gangway and you're rolling out in front of me a keyboard of millions of keys, millions and billions of keys that never end. That they never end. That keyboard is infinite. And if that keyboard is infinite, then on that keyboard there is no music you can play. You're sitting on the wrong bench. That's God's piano.

How do you choose just one? One woman, one house, one piece of land to call your own, one landscape to look at, one way to die...

I was born on this ship, and the world passed me by, but two thousand people at a time. And there were wishes here, but never more than fit between prow and stern. You played out your happiness, but on a piano that was not infinite. I learned to live that way.

Frozen is outstanding. From the humor to the music, Frozen takes you on a thrilling journey for all ages. Much like many Disney movies it starts off making the characters heartrendingly vulnerable, which is the beginning for the audience to become attached to the sister duo, and for them to wonder where the tragedy will take them. Which brings you to hear splendid duets with Kristin Bell and Idina Menzel. The soundtrack belonging to this Picture has the power to make you laugh until your side hurts, and start singing the lyrics before you even leave the theater. This has to be one of the best Disney Princess films I have ever had the opportunity to watch. The Humor is delightful, the quotes from the film are so memorable you'll catch yourself quoting it in daily conversation. Frozen is defiantly on the path to becoming a Disney classic, and I had been counting down the days until I can own this captivating film. Frozen is a must see.

篇15:冰雪奇缘英文影评

Elsa, princess of Arendelle, possesses Cryokinesis, the magical ability to create ice and snow. One night while playing, she accidentally knocks out her younger sister, Anna. The king and queen seek help from trolls, who heal Anna and remove her memories of her sister's magic. The royal couple isolates the children in their castle until Elsa learns to control her powers. Afraid of hurting her sister again, Elsa spends most of her time alone in her room, causing a rift between the girls as they grow up. When the girls are teenagers, their parents die at sea during a storm.

When Elsa comes of age, the kingdom prepares for her coronation. Among the guests is the Duke of Weselton, a tradesman seeking to exploit Arendelle for profit. Excited to be allowed out of the castle again, Anna explores the town and meets Prince Hans of the Southern Isles, and the two immediately develop a mutual attraction. Despite Elsa's fear, her coronation goes off without incident. During the reception, Hans proposes and Anna hastily accepts. However, Elsa refuses to grant her blessing and forbids their sudden marriage. The sisters argue, culminating in an emotional Elsa's abilities being exposed.

Panicking, Elsa flees the palace, inadvertently unleashing an eternal winter on the kingdom in the process. High in the nearby mountains, she casts off restraint, building herself a solitary ice palace, and unknowingly brings to life her and Anna's childhood snowman, Olaf. Meanwhile, Anna sets out in search of her sister, determined to return her to Arendelle, end the winter, and mend their relationship. While getting supplies, she meets mountain man Kristoff and his reindeer Sven. She convinces him to guide her up the North Mountain. The group then encounters Olaf, who leads them to Elsa's hideaway.

Anna and Elsa reunite, but Elsa still fears hurting her sister. When Anna persists in persuading her sister to return, Elsa becomes agitated and accidentally strikes Anna in the heart with her powers. Horrified, she creates a giant snow creature to run the friends away before she accidentally hurts anyone again. As they flee, Kristoff notices Anna's hair is turning white, and deduces something is very wrong. He seeks help from his adoptive family of trolls, who explain that Anna's heart has been frozen. Unless it's thawed by an “act of true love”, she will become frozen solid forever. Believing that only Hans can save her, Kristoff races back with her to Arendelle.

Meanwhile, Hans, leading a search for Anna, reaches Elsa's palace. In the ensuing battle against the Duke's men, she is knocked unconscious and imprisoned back at the kingdom. There, Hans pleads with her to undo the winter, but Elsa confesses she doesn't know how. When Anna reunites with Hans and begs him to kiss her to break the curse, Hans refuses and reveals that his true intention in marrying her is to seize control of Arendelle's throne. Leaving Anna to die, he charges Elsa with treason for her younger sister's apparent death.

Elsa escapes and heads out into the blizzard on the fjord. Olaf finds Anna and reveals Kristoff is in love with her. The two then rush onto the fjord to find him. Hans confronts Elsa and tells her Anna is dead because of her. In Elsa's despair, the storm suddenly ceases, giving Kristoff and Anna the chance to reach each other. However, when Anna sees that Hans is about to kill Elsa, she throws herself between the two and subsequently freezes solid, blocking the blow, knocking Hans off his feet and rendering him unconscious when he hits his head on the icy surface.

As Elsa grieves for her sister, Anna's decision to sacrifice herself to save Elsa constitutes an “act of true love” and thaws her. Realizing love is the key to controlling her powers, Elsa is able to thaw the kingdom and even helps Olaf survive in summer. Hans is sent back to the Southern Isles to face punishment for his crimes against the royal family of Arendelle, and Elsa cuts off trade with Weselton. Anna and Kristoff share a kiss, and the two sisters reconcile, with Elsa promising never to shut the castle gates again.

勇敢的心影评英文

There was a time when the local people in Scotland had to pay the taxes and the beautiful girl’s fist night to English ruler in return for ‘protection’. If the money and the fair lady were not paid promptly, the English gangsters would quickly destroy their home and possesses.

One of the most excellent figures in Scotland history was William Wallace, who was born in 1272. When he was young, his father was dead in the war which against with the enemy and he was brought up by his uncle. During that period, William Wallace learned the skill of fight and strategy of the war which make an important role of the later days.

William Wallace unshakable faith touches my heart. Not all the people are stood up to noble, opponents or even die. I admire William Wallace for striving for freedom、his brave and cherishing his woman.

Desire for freedom

When William Wallace was child, his father and brother died for a fight .The word “free” first appeared in his mind through a dream that his father told him. (The concept of personal freedom was a concept not much celebrated in 1300)Your heart was free; you needed to have the courage to follow it. A history about hero was begun. William Wallace fought for Scotland’s freedom in the 13th century, as longshanks want to rule a country of one that he arranged his son to marry the daughter of his rival, the king of France in order to control the political situation. Longshanks did also Grant nobles prima noctes, first night to draw more of his supporters to Scotland. Seeing their own woman robed by nobles, men could not tolerate these happened in Scotland. As more and more nobles came to Scotland, the local people suffered a lot from it. Wallace's dying cry, as his body was stretched on the rack, was “freedom!” The time had come. William Wallace killed the noble who infringed upon his beloved women. At that moment William Wallace clearly realized that only freedom was primary condition to live a normal life. I remembered a sentence William Wallace said: “I want children and a home and peace. I had asked god for these, but it is all for nothing if you don’t have freedom.” The power of words and strategies, William Wallace influenced suffer people. And more and more people took part in fighting for freedom. His unshakable resolution leaded him to a battle about freedom. As his saying: Wars could take our lives, but they would never take our freedom. His life’s purpose and personal mission statement was to pursue freedom.

Brave made one fight against exploiters

Through the cruel wars, He is an amazing battlefield strategist. Facing a major challenge, he refused to be beguiled into surrender. William Wallace is not naturally brave, because fight to the bitter end for peace and freedom. I think his brave heart derive from his childhood when he saw that the nobles’ army hurls rocks at each other for entertainment. Later, when a Scotsman has his wound numb, a saying came from his heart: “That’ll wake you up in the morning, boy!" Just when they thought all hope was lost, William Wallace still believed Scotland would be one and freedom was not so far from them that created his brave heart―Fight for freedom through wars. We can see his brave somewhere in this film such as routed one of Longshanks’ garrisons and murdered his noble lord.; Fight with the thousands of opponents in a war between English and Scotland; invaded Longshanks’ northern army in Your; fought with Longshanks face to face; consulted with Robert the Bruce about united the nobles to built a country of their own, even knew that would be grey. He was not the one to support the noble’s rights in Scotland’s land, neither the Balliol, William Wallace’s hometown, but fought against exploiters and looked forward to peaceful life. Brave heart was one of the important reasons that aroused people to fight for freedom and peaceful life. I think it was the power that took William Wallace over the fear of death, the fuel that propelled him toward the life you envision.

True love under the war

Everyone had his own true love, so did William Wallace. He was crazy in pursuit of love. But it was a pity, because in the 13th the common survived as slaves and they had less right (or even had no right) to do what they want to do, slaved for nobles, died for nobles. Love between William Wallace and Murron moved me to tears. They loved each other. They had their own land. Their love was smashed by invaders’ selfish desire. Poor Murron was the victim in the war, even she was not wrong, but history arranged her dead in the 13th when a fight for freedom just begun. Nowadays, the law has made to protect our right. We can hold fast to our ideal, such as life、job、love or other else. When I see Historical films about love, I always sigh for the sad ending, which the main actor and the main actress separate, not because the ending of love, but for the history. Thanks for William Wallace; I deeply make sense of the love between people included kinship、friendship and affection. In the long history, people fought for freedom、rights and land all the time. Today we are free, but how many people dare to pursue his love or ideal, and how many people see his relatives、friends or the one he deep in love getting on a train and going away. I think we should take measures to defend our true feeling and follow it. The love between William Wallace and Murron was wonderful because they had strived for each other.

William Wallace, a hero of Scotland, was excellent in Scotland history. His brave heart、unshakable faith about fighting for freedom and love have never influencing the young generation less.

His heart will go on.

篇17:勇敢的心英文影评

Have seen this great heroical film , I was greatly moved by it’s encouraging story , Passes through heros tender feelings in the rank smell of blood and the war, manifested the 13th century Scotland hero William Wallaces blood and iron and the tender feelings. William Wallace in the movie is a typical American typical hero, he has a brave heart has a strong sense of righteousness.

The forest, the village as well as the sierra accompany the Scotland bagpipe sound to take movies start, forms the sharp contrast with wars in noisy rank smell of blood. Freedom, Wallace is precisely fighting for perfect freedom. He mentioned two times that said “I want to farm, to get married, lives well - -, if I may.” To finally this, he has not realized his dream.

To avoid the “the right of first love”, Wallace and Mellone has a secret marriage. But because Mellone revolts against England soldier’s indecently, she is lacerated in her throat. Then Wallace come to anger and begin to fight for freedom.

Wallace lead the villagers resist many attacks from England royal family. Wallace win many big wars, England royal family mount the last attack, at the beginning of the war, Wallace said the troops under his command: “Aye, fight and you may die. Run and youll live -- at least a while. And dying in your beds many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for one chance, just one chance to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but theyll never take our freedom!”

However, they fail. Perhaps Wallace is captured by England and sentence to death. After a series of torture, I am unable to continue watching. All people including the executioner urge him to say Mercy obtains the survival, he exhausts his whole bodys strength to shout: “Freedom!” It like a stream of current across though my body.
