他在教学时是这样设计的，先通过对球王贝利的认识，初步了解人物，并激发探索贝利能成为球王的原因的兴趣。再通过读课文，来说明贝利能成为球王的真正原因。直奔中心，抓出关键词：喜欢、勤奋、真诚。然后围绕这几个关键词来展开教学。通过找句子来说明，从哪些句子里看出贝利很喜欢踢足球，踢得很勤奋，很真诚？然后抓住学生找出来的重点句，逐一体会、理解、感悟。
2、媒体巧用，放飞思维。
在信息技术迅速发展的今天，电教多媒体已逐渐走进课堂，渗透于教学中。多媒体的巧妙运用，更给了语文教学一片美丽的天空，让学生的思维“飞”了起来。张老师的'这堂语文课就将课件媒体运用地恰到好处，贝利射门的精彩瞬间视频的播放，既辅助了教学，激发了学生学习兴趣，又画龙点睛，放飞了学生的思维能力，让学生在轻松愉悦的情景中理解了课文内容，突破了重点难点。
篇19：球王贝利的故事
球王贝利出生在巴西海岸线附近一个贫困的小镇里，父亲是位因伤退役、穷困潦倒的前足球户外员。贝利从小酷爱足球户外，很早就，显现出踢球的天分。正因家里穷，父亲没有钱买足球，但为了鼓励儿子贝利对足球的钟爱，他用大号袜子、破布和旧报纸，做成了一个自制“足球”送给儿子。从此，贝利常常光着黑瘦的脊梁，在家门前坑坑洼洼的街面上，赤着脚向想像中的球门冲刺。
10岁时，贝利和伙伴们组建了一支街头足球队，在当地渐渐小有名气。足球在巴西人的生活中有着举足轻重的地位，因此，镇里开始有不少人向崭露头角的贝利打招呼，还给他敬烟。贝利很享受那种吸烟带来的“长大了”的感觉，渐渐有了烟瘾。但正因买不起烟，他开始到处找人索要。
一天，贝利在街上向人要烟时被父亲撞见了。父亲的脸色很难看，眼里充满了忧伤和绝望，甚至还有恨铁不成钢的怒火，贝利不由得低下了头。
回家后，父亲问贝利抽烟多久了，他小声辩解说自我只吸过几次。忽然，贝利看见面前的父亲猛然抬起了手，他吓得肌肉紧绷，不由自主地捂住自我的脸。父亲从来没有打过他，可这天他的错误确实有些大了，小小年纪就抽烟，而且还撒谎。然而出人意料的是，父亲给他的并不是预想的耳光，而是一个紧紧的拥抱。
父亲把贝利搂在怀中说：“孩子，你有踢球的天分，能够成为一个伟大的球员。但如果你抽烟、喝酒、染上各种恶习，那足球生涯可能就至此为止了。一个不爱惜身体的球员，怎样能在90分钟内一向持续较高的水平呢?以后的路怎样走，你自我决定吧。”
父亲放开贝利，拿出瘪瘪的钱包，掏出里面仅有的几张纸币说：“如果你真忍不住想抽烟，还是自我买的好。总向别人索要。会让你丧失尊严。”
贝利感到十分羞愧，眼泪几乎要夺眶而出，可当他抬起头时，发现父亲的脸上已是泪水纵横......
之后，贝利再没有抽过烟，也没有沾染任何足球圈里的恶习。他以魔术般的足球天赋和高尚谦逊的品格，被誉为20世纪最伟大的户外员。
多年以后，已成为一代球王的贝利仍不能忘怀当年父亲的那个拥抱，他说：“在几乎踏上歧路时，父亲那个温暖的拥抱，比给我多少个耳光都更有力量。”

在足球王国巴西，不会踢足球的男孩子，绝对不会招人钟爱。在那里，富人的孩子有富人的足球场地，穷人的孩子也有穷人的踢足球的方式。球王贝利就出生在一个贫寒的家庭里，他的父亲，是一个因伤退役，贫困潦倒的前足球队员。
从小贝利踢球的天分就表现出来了，他常常踢着父亲为他特制的足球用一个大号袜子塞满破布和旧报纸，然后尽量捏成球形，外边再用绳子捆紧做成的足球。贝利经常光着他黑瘦的脊梁，在家门前那条坑坑洼洼的街面上，赤着脚，摔得皮开肉绽仍然是灵敏与矫健地向着想像中的球门冲刺。
贝利因踢球渐渐有了点名气，有许多认识和不认识的人常常跟他打招呼，还给他敬烟。像所有未成年人一样，贝利钟爱吸烟时的那种长大了感觉。
最后有一天，当贝利在街上向人要烟时被父亲撞见了，父亲的脸色很难看，贝利不由地低下头不敢看父亲的眼睛，正因他看到父亲的眼睛里有一种忧伤，有一种绝望，还有一种恨铁不成钢的怒火。
父亲说:我看见你吸烟了。
贝利不敢回答父亲的话，沉默着一言不发。
父亲又说：是我看错了吗?
贝利盯着悲哀父亲的脚尖，小声说：不，你没有。
父亲说：你吸烟多久了?
贝利小声地为自我辩解说：我，只吸过几次，几天前才吸的。
父亲打断了他的话，说：告诉我，味道好吗?我没抽过烟，不知道到底是什么味道。
贝利说:我也不知道，其实并不太好。贝利说的时候突然紧了全身的肌肉，手不由自主地往脸上捂去，正因，他看到站在他面前的父亲猛地抬起了手。但是，那并不是贝利预料中的耳光，而是父亲把他搂在了怀中。父亲说:你踢球有点天分，也许会成为一个高手，但如果你抽烟喝酒，那就到此为止了，正因你不能在90分钟内一向持续一个较高的水平。这事你自我决定吧。
父亲说着，打开瘪瘪的钱包，里边只有几张皱巴巴的纸币。父亲说:你如果真想抽烟，还是自我买吧，总跟人家要，太丢人了，你买烟要多少钱?
贝利感到又羞又愧，眼睛里涩涩的，可他抬起头来，看到父亲的`脸上已是老泪纵横!
之后贝利再也没有抽过烟，他凭着自我的勤学苦练，和令所有后卫胆寒的短距离冲刺，最后成了一代球王。
多年后，贝利仍不能忘怀当年父亲的那一个温暖拥抱，他回忆说:父亲那温暖的一个怀抱，比给我多少个耳光都更有力量啊。
