写这篇文章不是为了给别人指路，而是为了给自己探路，本人只是有幸在大公司和小公司都有过一段时间的工作经历，但是无权向别人建议是去大公司还是小公司。我想每个人对这个问题都有自己的理解和认识，在不同的阶段也有不同的想法。

本文只是简单的客观的描述我在不同地方工作体会到的真实感触，不太任何感情色彩。希望通过我的经历，给大家一些启发，也希望过来人给我些建议，我对此也很迷茫。开始读计算机本科，真正接触计算机行业，我很幸运，因为我很快的喜欢上了这个领域。其实也并非喜欢沉浸在技术海洋里，享受技术控的快乐。只是为了自己的成果被别人享用时的那一点点成就感和虚荣心，我想这对我来说，已经足够。正因为此，我没有像同学一样和网吧游戏度过4年本科时光，也没有像牛人那样和书本打了4年交道。我选择去学习技术，实践技术，用代码实现自己的想法。我享受设计产品的过程，喜欢把设计变成现实的快感。慢慢的，我逐渐的成长了。于是我不满足于自己苦思冥想，因为我知道自己的见识和经历，永远无法取得突破。

先来说大公司：

气派的办公大楼，冬暖夏凉的办公环境，宽敞干净的办公桌，免费的咖啡果汁，高配的开发机，空间足够的服务器，强大的集群，可靠的维修部门，完善的工作制度和奖惩措施……

一个比一个更强的技术，一份比一份简明的文档，一张比一张清晰的PPT，一封比一封专业的邮件，一段比一段规范的代码，一行比一行详细的注释……

优厚的工资水平，不错的福利待遇，体面的工作单位，巨大的成长空间，难得的锻炼机会……

上面罗列了很多大公司的共性，不过凡事都有利有弊，大公司也有一些弊端。

里面的牛人很多，工作分配就变得困难，分到每个人的任务往往都是一个部分，有时支离破碎，有时属于周边的非核心功能实现，很难让你对全局有一个很好的理解和把握，

在大公司，每个人的分工往往比较专一，特别在一开始，你负责的部分不会很宽泛，这会导致时间长了，你的成长只局限于你负责的领域，很难全面成长。通常会遇到这样的情况，整个部门开大会，汇报工作进展，你只能听懂你自己汇报的那部分，其他组在座的东西，你知之甚少，或一概不知，甚至不知道人家项目的代号。当然这会让你变得在某一方面更深入，更专业。这其中的利弊就要各位自己衡量了。

对比的看下小公司吧：

商住两用的办公室，水泥地的屋子，网吧一样的办公空间，免费的白开水，一到两台托管服务器，慢的要命的windows……

虚心的同事，简单的文档，各式各样的代码风格，可有可无的注释，一周一次的技术交流，一周n次的给别人面试……

紧张但快乐的工作环境，还说的过去的工资水平，很好的磨练自己的机会，较大的成长空间……

与大公司相比，小公司虽然有很多这样那样的不足，但有一点是最让我欣赏的——精气神。通常小公司都是在创业初期，公司里的人都是一起经过努力走过来的，大家对成功很向往，因此有这很好的工作状态。彼此之间更加信任，关系更密切。大公司已经站在一个很高的高度，难免有些知足自满，加之公司的业绩与个人业绩挂钩的比例很小，工作状态总让人感觉有点不对劲。从个人技术成长出发，小公司更容易培养出全才，事无巨细，都需要你来完成，总共就没几个干事的人，所以大家都会成长很快，而且什么都会，什么都得会。但是同样带来了弊端，那就是广而不精，够用就行。抱着这种思想做事，虽然有成长，但是实话实说，一知半解。

简单介绍了一下，不知道有过同样经历的朋友有是不是跟我有一样的体会，现在我就处在这样一个十字路口。明年就研究生毕业了，面临着找工作的艰巨任务，现在有点茫然，不知道要去哪发展了。不同公司的风格也不一样，不确定自己应该怎样选择。一方面可以比较顺利的留在大公司，一方面又有很多朋友让我去帮忙创业，自己也还想有一些新的工作尝试。从技术成长角度来说，我觉得去哪里都会有不少收获，毕竟自己现在才刚刚起步，还有不小的发展潜力，也愿意去创造价值。关键是看哪里能给我提供这样的平台。创业公司未必靠谱，有些大公司固步自封，未必有魄力创新，真是不知道如何抉择了。各位有没有类似的经历和疑惑呢?

There are many different types of transportation which I could use to travel 40 miles from my home. The type of transportation I would choose depends mainly on how fast I need to get there and how much money I have. Some possibilities are walking, horseback riding, driving, or using a taxi, bus, or train.

The most economical choice is walking. It costs nothing, is healthful, but it is time consuming. The average person can walk about 4-5 miles per hour, so this trip would take at least 10 hours to complete. That means I would probably have to spend the night somewhere along the way. If I have to spend money for a hotel, then this choice really isn’t free. Plus, I might arrive at the end tired and with sore feet! After walking comes animal transportation. In my area, horses are not common, so it wouldn’t be a likely choice. I believe that a 40-mile trip would take 2 or 3 hours on a horse. If I had free access to a horse, the cost would be minimal. Of course, I’d have to know how to ride!

With a car, the travel time is minimal (under one hour), with only the cost of gasoline to consider. However, I don’t own a car, and car rentals are expensive. Shared taxis are one form of affordable transportation, with 4 or 5 people sharing the cost of a car trip to a common destination. The only downside is finding people to share the fare with me. Fortunately, I live in an urban area, where there are buses and trains to ride. One of these would be my first choice.

In short, the kind of transportation depends on how fast I need to get to my destination and how much money I have. If I need to get there first, and money isn’t important, I can hire a private taxi. Since I don’t own my own car. I don’t have that option, and I have never walked 40 miles ins one trip. I usually depend on the bus and trains, and would do so in this circumstance.
