My favorite song is “MY Heart Will GO On”, from the titanic movie. Celine Dion who is a famous playback singer and a pop start of Canada and us has sung this song. I had seen a video this song on a music channel before the movie released in my country before a 20 years ago. When I saw the video, I was impressed by the picturization of the song. Liked the song and immediately I bought its audio from the market and I started listening to the song.

The lyrics of the song are wonderful and touchy. The song talks about true love that is eternal and the song has been associate with the character of the heroin of the film in such a wonderful way that that the song is a message of a girl in the movie who falls in love with a painter on the ship titanic. The ship sinks, she loses her love, yet, she remembers her love at an age of 80+ and all the memories of her love are as fresh as a flower.

Apart from the lyrics, the singer Celine Dion has sung the song. She has made it melodious and effective with her beautiful voice. The tune of the song and music are so soothing and melodious that we want to hear the song again and again. I like the song so much that I kept the tune of this song as my mobile’s ring tone for a long time. I still hear this song on my computer and mobile. This song is one of my favorite songs and the best in the career of Celine Dion according to me.

I am planning the trip in next summer. In fact, I will take a leave from my office for the entire summer. I have not been taking leaves for past one year and have been working like a machine. Even I had worked in the office on the weekends to meet some emergencies. Now, I am badly in need of a great refreshment and the trip will help me to get refreshed. The trip will begin from the very first day of summer vacation and will last around a month.

I am an NGO worker here and live with my parents. So, I am planning to visit any of the European countries, particularly Italy, with my parents. They have not been out of South Africa for a long time. Besides, I have conducted a minor research that Italy is the most attractive place to visit. The country contains a notable number of natural visiting places with beautiful landscapes. Moreover, the lakes of the country are excellent with their bluish water. The foods are delicious and almost all types of foods are available here. Besides, this is a destination for global tourists. Considering all these facts, I have planned to have the trip to Italy.

Initially, I have selected some of the most visiting spots in Italy. But all the other preparations are still remaining. I am unable to manage time for the preparations. I have to renew my passport in line with the passports of my parents. This is really a hefty task. Then I have to arrange for vis as though this is not a problem at all and manageable within one day. Then appears the issues of collecting maps for the locations I want to visit. Changing the currency is another potential issue to be considered. So, before starting the trip, I have to collect the changed currencies or it will be difficult to meet the expenses in Italy. Booking the aeroplane tickets is another important issue. I have to book tickets at least 15 days before the trip. So far, these are the necessary preparations that I need to take.

This would be a very special trip as I am travelling with my parents for the first time out of the state. In fact, this would a family trip where all the three family members will be present together for the first time. Earlier, I was unable to manage time for such trip and could not dare to even plan for. It was my occupational engagement that made me separated from my family. Only we met at the table at night during the supper. So, I made the plan to have the trip for a long time so that we could spend some quality moments together in a very special place. In view of all such aspects, this would be a special trip for me.

雅思口语part2新题:a favorite song of yours

1. What would life be like without music?

Life without music would be quiet and dull. What would we do at parties besides eating and talking? That might as well be a meeting. Think about the best party you’ve ever been to, how vibrant and outgoing everyone was. Especially when everyone’s favourite jam came on. Music helps me focus on projects when the house is soundless. In the past, I would drive around town aimlessly at night with nothing but music and my thoughts. This helped my creativity tremendously.

2. Which is more important to you, music or TV?

Although television takes up a big chunk of my life I could probably do without it. Music, on the other hand, is irreplaceable. I’m thinking to myself I could read the news & also read a novel that the blockbuster movie was adapted from. Consequentially, I cannot read a song. Novels are famously known for being better than the movie. There is no possible way to hear music in any other form. It all boils down to what can be replaced and what can’t.

3. What kind of music do you like?

I’ve always had an infatuation with music since I was a kid. My family likes to remind me of the time when I was two & I learned to say “Jackson! Jackson!” then hobble/hop around when his songs were played. Although my taste for music has evolved & diversified since then, music still holds a special place in my heart. I listen to all types of music & I am open to new music. Having said that, as I am writing this I am listening to classical music because it helps me concentrate and be more resourceful. The most common type of genre I listen to is Hip-Hop or Rap. I really feel that rappers recite more contemporary poetry. There are a few R&B artists I listen to regularly.

4. What musical genre do you really hate? Why?

I detest American Country music. It has got to be the lamest and depressing music genre available to the public. I cannot pinpoint the exact reason why I abhor this heinous excuse for music but I will try. Country music is extremely patriotic, quite irritating. America is number one when most of the people that listen to that type of music probably have never left the proximity of their area code. Music CEO’s realise that white American population are losing jobs to “foreigners” so country music artists use that and say white America should love a pure America. It’s a clever way to be racist. When in truth no one is a True American. The lyrics are too simple but try too hard to be meaningful. Country music has a kind twang that I loathe. It will never grow on me & I try my hardest not to judge the people who listen to country music.

5. What do you think of music your parents listen to?

My father has the same affection, if not more, for music as me. While I was growing up I have fond memories with the family & there was always traditional or classical Iranian music playing during these moments. Although I don’t have any Iranian music on my computer & never choose to listen to Iranian music I do like some of it. However, I am not crazy about some of today’s popular Iranian songs because they always seem to be furrowing their brows while griping about love.

6. Why do humans like music so much?

Without looking up scientific facts why the human species is drawn to music I can muse that music has been a part of humans since the existence of man. Cavemen created drums and hopped around to the beat while circling a fire. Music evokes a feeling in people & I think that at its core that is why humans appreciate music so much.

7. Why is music important to you?

Music plays an important role in my life. Whatever emotion I am feeling or mood I am in, I pair it with music. Some people listen to Adele when they are sad or Pitbull when they are happy. Music is the soundtrack to my life. Certain songs come on and it teleports me back to a moment while I was listening to that same song, usually a happier time too.

8. What influence do you think music has on life?

Music doesn’t influence me like it used to. When I was 12 I started listening to hip-hop and it slightly influenced the way I dressed and somewhat how I acted. Case in point, when I saw Dr. Dre wearing a black fitted baseball hat, I always wore one. Now I am older and music doesn’t have that type of influence on me but some music does affect my behaviour or mood. If I am listening up-tempo music it usually goes well with a party or my good music, whereas slower tempo music helps me relax and unwind.

9. What is the best time and place to listen to music?

That’s the beauty of music; you can almost always listen to music. I feel the best time to have music is in social gatherings like when you are with close friends and you create a soundtrack for that occasion. At the same time, a meeting where you are trying to work is not an appropriate time to listen to any kind of music; even white noise.

雅思口语part2新题:someone who is professional

Describe someone who is very professional

You should say:

Who this person is

Who this person does

How you knew this person

And explain why this person is professional

Talking about a person who is very professional, I would like to share a guy with you. His name is Laokaoya, which isn’t a real name, a nickname actually. Well, literally it means an old roast duck, but actually, it doesn’t. He is a very experienced English teacher and has used this nickname to give a hand to those students who are struggling to get a good score on a foreign language before getting accepted from an ideal college/university/school.

To my knowledge, he is a teacher who is always willing to help his students whenever possible. I clearly remember that there’s a day on which I was quite upset with my first try on a test which was quite essential for getting into the school that I was longing for. It was him who at the very horrible moment pulled my through by giving my considerate guidance both academically and mentally. I just couldn’t imagine how worse I was going to be if I didn’t meet him on the Internet by chance.

Well, the reason why I think he is quite professional is that he is scored 8.5 out of 9 in a speaking test, which seems implausible for me. So he is definitely a respective person that I want to learn from. Apart from that, his acute sense of detecting minor problems in students’ language learning has given me a kind of wow factor.

I’m majoring in Medicine in college, obviously I am not going to be a language expert like him, but I really hope I could enhance my knowledge in Medicine and become a person who has expertise in the medicine circle just like my teacher does.

雅思口语part2新题之拍过的照片(a photo you have taken)

Describe a photo you have taken

You should say:

Where you took it

When you took the photo

What/who is in the photo

And explain how you felt about the photo

Describe a photo you have taken

I once took a snap shot of Leijun on a flight from Shanghai to Tailand, and it is a great experience for me.

That should be two years ago, when I was on a lone wolf’s vacation to Bangkok by air and you know, it was my first international flight. To say I was a bit excited is quite an understatement, since I took photos here and there right from the beginning of the journey. So how could I miss the chance to capture some great moments from within the plane when we were taking off. I held my iphone aiming at the outside. There were the diminished buildings, roads, and the whole city, and then the touchable sky, the fluffy clouds and the horizon. Then I found it would be nice if I could snap some shots of the cabin, but I knew it was a bit rude. So I stood up and watched around. Oh forgot to mention that it is a budget flight and basically I got stuck in the cramped seat space. That was when I spot him, a middle-aged blanket-covered man, resting with eyes closed. Yeah, that’s him, Leijun, a dedicated entrepreneur and billionaire, my role model. After seconds of thought, I sneakily took a photo of him like a paparazzi ambushing a super star, since I was so shy and I know I couldn’t possibly summon up courage to really talk to him even I got the rare face to face chance.

So, it is a beautiful moment that I captured and cherished. My business hero, like an ordinary worker on a budget flight for a business trip. In the photo, he is tired but peaceful. Sometimes I will fixate on the photo and wonder what he was thinking: a great business opportunity, a step forward the goal, the mistakes made. I didn’t post this photo online but someone else did. There is a lot of talking about him why take a budget flight and an economical class. Lately he gave a simple but convincing explanation in an interview for him never taking first class and booking in five star hotel: I am CEO of a start-up and I cant set an opposite example when what we need most is endeavour and enterprise. That says all.

Describe an interesting event in your school

You should say:

What was the event

When was the event

Why was it interesting

And explain how you felt about it

a native answer

I was in the third grade at the local primary school in Montreal, Canada when the event took place. It was about participating in a quiz competition and I won the first prize there. I was awarded a certificate and a nice piece of water jar as a recognition. In fact, it was the first achievement of my life. During the school days, I have achieved many other prizes and in the later part of the college, I also secured a notable number of awards. But the memories of the first award in my school is still vivid in my mind. In fact, it was the beginning of the journey. Thank you for this interesting question. It reminds me of my school days. I am turning nostalgic. Here I will describe the event in brief.

It was an inter-class quiz competition. Since I had a neck to know about everything by reading books since an early age, I attempted at the event. My mom also inspired me to participate in the competition. Actually, she inspired me most to be at the competition and also told me that I do not have to win the event. She wanted me to increase my knowledge and experience from that early age. Finally, I took part there and it was a grand success for me. I won the first prize in that inter-class quiz competition. And since then, I have never been second in position in the other competitions I took part in.

The event is still memorable for many reasons. I was a girl of hardly seven years old. And it was really daring to express the intention to take part in a heavy competition. The questions were made based on categories. I selected two categories and correctly answered all the questions. When it was in a group, I tried to score the highest point for my group. The competition was tougher. Most of the participants were my seniors and I was the youngest competitor among them. So, many of them ignored me and when I won the prize, it was a nice reply from my part to them. Hence, the memories are still awake in my mind.

The feelings are sweet. I was a little girl then and now a matured lady. But this time, I have undergone a large number of sweet and sour experiences in my life. I have won in battles, I failed. I stood up again. But the beginning of this battle started with the winning of the quiz competition in my childhood. After that event, I have won many prizes in home and abroad. But the feelings are not the same as it was for the first quiz competition. I feel charmed for that event.

雅思口语话题part2高分范文之:礼貌的场合(a situation you have to be polite)

Describe a situation where you have to be polite

You should say:

What it is

What did you do to be polite

Why did you have to be polite

And explain how you felt about it afterwards

1-4月雅思口语新题part2范文之:礼貌的场合(a situation where you have to be polite)

Ok, well I would actually like to start by saying that I try to be polite in all situations, because that was basically how I was brought up, but if I was to choose a particular occasion when I had to be polite, then I’ll talk about the time I went to a friend’s house for their birthday party.

And as for when it was, well I suppose it must have been about three or four months ago, and basically what happened was that a friend of mine invited me, along with a few other of his friends, to his house for dinner to celebrate his birthday with him. And when we got there, we were given a nice welcome by his parents, who then offered us some drinks and took us through to the living room to wait for a bit while they finished preparing the dinner. Anyway, it was worth the wait, because the dinner was fantastic, and by the end of it, I was absolutely stuffed!

So regarding why I had to be polite, well, I think it goes without saying that whenever you go to someone else’s house, you should always be polite, you know, it’s common sense, because I mean, if someone’s kind enough to invite you to their home and treat you to food and drink, the least you can do is be polite and well-mannered, and if you’re not, then chances are that you won’t get invited back!

You know, I think it’s safe to say that we’ve all experienced times when someone hasn’t behaved very well when they’ve been a guest at our home, and usually when that happens, the first thing we say to each other when that person’s left is, “there’s no way they’re ever coming back!”. Of course for young children it’s different, but for adults there’s no excuse at all. And if you do make the effort to be polite, then it makes a big difference, because then you’ll leave a very good impression and consequently be welcome as a guest again in the future.

So yeah, I guess that’s pretty much all there is to say, so thanks for listening.
