But I also need admit that I am easily irritable and worried unduly, which might bring unnecessary air of tension to the team members and will affect their personal emotions and somewhat derail the work efficiency. For instance, when student A did not finish the scheduled task on time, I will think it was quite an irresponsible act

Okay I’d like to talk about my teamwork experience in high school.

It was when I organized the Sports Day in my school as I was in thecommittee in the student union, taking charge of all the big events in my school. Basically, I needed to build my teamand organize the Sports Day which is a tradition. I worked with other two committees and eightstudents reps from different classes.

We had loads to do for the event, so, as a leader I first allocated the job to every person and set some deadlines for the team. It was such a big event so various of jobs were required, for example, to recruit 20 to 30 volunteers and train them; and to direct and rehearse the performances on the opening show; also, to invite all the guests who were parents or teachers from other schools. The whole team worked really well and everyone did their job very properly. So it went well in the end.

Therefore, it was a very memorable experience for the reason that it was not easy for a big group to work well. I was really thankful to the whole team and I learned how important communication is in a team. To make the whole team run smoothly, a lot of communication is required and everyone needs to know their roles very well. So yeah this was the time when I had a teamwork with others which luckily turned out quite well.

同样地，如果你对某事并不热衷，使用“ I am not keen on doing something.”即可。

Asking for clarification

有时你没听清或听懂对方的话语，不用不好意思~你可以礼貌的请他再说一遍，解释一下，以下这三种表达方式都可以使用：

1. Sorry, I didn't quite catch that对不起, 我没听清楚

2. Could you say that again?你能再说一遍吗?

3. Could you explain what you mean by……?你能解释关于...... 的意思吗?

比如：“could you explain what you mean by bricks and mortar business?”

Providing clarification

如果你需要解释、澄清你的刚才说的话，以下三种方式都可以：

1. To put it another way换一种方式说

2. What I'm trying to say is我想说的是……

应对沉默

Describe a team project for study or entertainment.

What the activity was?

It was my pleasure to join a team to conduct a survey about children from poor homes. In this project, we provided disadvantaged children with free education and wrote a report based on the situations of these children.

When and where you did it?

It was during a summer holiday, and I went to some deprived areas of this city with my classmates, we taught classes to children for free, and provided tutorials on a one-on-one basis.

Who you were with?

I did this project with my classmates.They are all very compassionate people. who are always willing to help those in need.

How you felt about being part of this group?

I felt great because we were able to understand the challenges facing children from less well-off backgrounds. we did understand the importance of education to these children. We also had a sense of achievement, because I felt our work could help them solve some problems related to their academic work.

雅思口语考试四大发音问题

1、单词重音后移

中国的英语学习者在读英语单词时，常犯重音位移错误,主要表现为将第一个音节重音后移至第二个音节。英文的重音就像中文的四声，和单词的发音是不可分割的，重音后移听起来会有非常的奇怪的声调。最常见的重音后移的单词是interesting，它的重音在最前面，而不是在t的前面。类似的还有 subject、mobile、recent等，这些单词的重音也都在最前面。

2.太爱发“儿”化音

一直以来，受美剧的影响，加上雅思口语考试对语音的包容性，让很多考生选择了自己喜欢的美式英语，但这也意味着很多考生开始了对“儿”化音的情有独钟，即不加区分地卷舌发儿化音。邓老师说济南环球雅思的很多学员都有这方面的毛病，如 “because”和“of course”并不一样，后者有“r”可以“儿”化;前者却没有，可很多学员都喜欢把它读成[bi’k?rz]。事实上，无论英式美式，它都发 [bi’k?z]。banana，Christmas，August，idea都是很典型的例子，单词的拼写中并没有“r”，但是考生却莫名其妙非要读出 “r”的音。通常我们所说的儿化音只有在单词中出现字母r时才会有相应的发音出现。

3.辅音发不准确

首当其冲的是th的发音，凡是遇到th我们都要咬舌头，比如the， think， this， mother， both， three， through， month， maths。绝大多数学生在遇到th时，都用/s/或/z/来替代，没有伸出舌尖。这样做的结果是自己说得很舒服，听的人很不舒服。

试试念一下下面这个句子，看看你有没有这个毛病：

Neither father nor mother likes this weather.

爸爸妈妈都不喜欢这天气。(咬五次舌头)

还有两组非常常见的错误：/l//n/不分，/w//v/不分。南方人倾向于出现/l//n/不分，北方人/w//v/不分。邓老师说济南环球雅思(微博)曾经有个贵州学员在第一次上课做自我介绍的时候居然说“My leim is …(My name is …)”，全班同学都忍着才能不笑出来。无疑这样的自我介绍也会给考官留下很不好的印象。

英语辅音/n//l/的发音部位和汉语的这两个音的发音部位基本是一致的，/l/是舌侧音，发音时舌尖抵住上齿龈，气流由舌头两旁出来，/n/是鼻音，发音时也是舌尖抵住上齿龈，但气流是从鼻腔里出来的。这个区别如果不注意加以强调的话，学生一出口就容易犯错误，以name一词为代表。容易/n//l/淆的常见词还有：let，like，live，light，low，night，ninenose，net等等。

4.长元音和双元音不饱满

试试下面这两个句子你能读得对吗?

Mike likes to write by the nice bright light at night. (八次张嘴，元音极其饱满!)

I like the shape of that mountain.(包含了四个容易混淆的元音)

双元音是指音标中的八个音[ei][ai][?i][au][?u] [i?][ε?][u?]。正确的双元音读法应该经历一个先升再降的抛物线式拖音过程，强弱分明，而不是很多同学的直线式发音，比如把[?u]读成“欧” 音，[ai]读成“爱”音，[au]读成“奥”音等等。发双元音时如果不注意强弱区别、饱和度不够的话，往往会影响听力理解。

思路：记忆力很差，忘记要做什么，所以要列个表

回答：actually not, I have a poor memory, sometime I forget what to do every day, this is why I normally have a to-do list to remind me the important things I need to do on a daily basis.

What do you remember to do every day?

思路：我是大学生，每天重要的事情就是去上课，完成作业，备考

词伙：Attend lectures, finish assignments, prepare for exams

回答：I am a university student, so my priority every day is to attend lectures, finish assignments, and prepare for exams.

Have you ever forgotten to do something?

思路：有时候很忙，忘记一些重要的日子，

词伙：tight timetable, special occasions

回答：yes, because sometimes I have a tight timetable, I forget some special occasions, such as my friends’ birthday party.
