资料的选择

网络的普及让资料下载变得异常便捷,很多同学于是乎开始疯狂下载收集资料,一张张的刻盘,当手里拿着装满了英语资料的硬盘时那种满足感,好像自己已经掌握了英语似的,有一天猛一回头,发现自己除了沉颠颠的盘包和硬盘,英语还是停留在原地。如果是短期内就要考雅思的同学,最容易忽略同时也是最最宝贵的资源就是剑桥雅思真题集2-7,如果能把真题全部“吃透”,高分其实就离你不远了。而如果你没有明确的考试任务,就听力而言,选择自己感兴趣的材料,每天利用零碎的时间坚持听,不管听什么英文材料都会有收获的。

方法的选择

常常有学生问我最有效的听力方法是什么。我认为关于学习方法,最重要的是根据目前自己的英语水平和考试计划,选择最适合的复习方法,才能达到事半功倍的效果。首先要找到自己的薄弱环节,分析好问题出在哪里才能对症下药。

1. 确定自己是否题目都能跟上,这是检验是否有做题节奏上的问题。雅思听力40道题目的题号顺序和答题顺序是完全一致的。

2. 如果总是跟不上题目,也就是录音里的内容与题目的位置不能匹配了,那就要解决题目定位的问题。然后在检查是否有生词,是否有答案确切性的问题,有时在做题时知道答案出现的大概位置,但在一句话中不知道具体哪个词是答案,这样的话就要分析一下对答案词性和词义是否判断和预测准确,换句话说就是是否是带着目的有的放矢地听。

3. 最后就要看看是否快速反应,拼写速度能否过关了。

雅思听力能力提升之四遍式听法

雅思听力第一遍

全文听过,着重理解文章内容,在听的过程中不要看原文,一定有许多单词听不出来,甚至有些句子也没有听出来,没有关系,开始第二遍。

雅思听力第二遍

这次重点放在听懂句子上,试着根据听到的单词和结构猜测没有听到部分的内容,根据其发音特点估计到底是哪个单词,这时大家会发现听力测试其实是考察一个人的记忆力的测试,必须以最快的速度记住听懂的内容,而这并不是最难的;还要尽可能记住没听懂的内容,根据上下文和发音特点来猜测记忆,在脑海中根据听力内容的进程设置提示点,提示的越明确,以后回忆起来的可能性就越大。

雅思听力第三遍

在听的过程中反复搜索刚才设置的各个提示点,继续联系上下文,重点放在单词的理解上,由全文,到句子,再到单词,范围逐渐缩小,如果基础比较好的话,会发现听第三遍时单词会自己跳到脑海中,这是因为大脑对听到的信息已经进行了2次加工,根据设置的提示点会使人想起以前记忆库中的单词。

听过三遍后,再看一遍原文,快速的看,只看自己没听出来的部分,这样记忆会非常深刻。

雅思听力第四遍

重听刚才的内容,注意语音语调,从语音的角度加强刚才没听出来内容的记忆。这样,经过四次精听,基础好、记忆力好的同学可能已经把文章背的差不多了!

每天听1个小时,坚持听1-2个月后,一般难度的听力材料已经可以听懂了,因为所有听力资料的发音规则都是一样的,接触的材料多了,各种发音规则都见过了,而且有的不只听过一次,这样对听力规则的掌握就基本完成了。经过不断的学习和巩固提高,听力水平会在原有的基础上达到一个新的高度。

对于这种听力方法,更多的是需要坚持,并注意材料的选择,太难或者太简单都是不合适的,最后祝大家都能考出好成绩。

3.语言的另一重要作用是其交际功能,能够理解中心思想,演讲者的意图,或细节,能体会语言的交际功能意义,善于把语言与语境联系起来进行体会 字面表层所传递的深层意义,如请求、命令、建议等,而熟悉句子的句型,有助于提高对讲演者意图的判别能力,理解句子的语言外涵义。Let’s …

4. 不管听什么材料,注意力一定要集中在整体内容的理解上,千万不能只停留在个别单词或单句上,听不清时马上放弃,不要强迫自己听清每一个词,要把重点放在听关键词即实词上。(雅思听力的目的是答题,所以不要把多余的精力放在材料上面)

5. 语言的听是主动的解码而不是被动的感知,是积极地认知构建而不是单纯的声学事实。练习听写,平时听录音时就要有意识地将关键信息写下来,一方面训练信息接 受的准确性;另一方面培养短期记忆、正确拼写单词的能力。练习听写还能强制性地迫使自己全神贯注、积极思考。(这个雅思听力技巧是最需要功底的了)

6. 努力挖掘语言背后的英语思维模式和外国文化背景,毕竟语言是文化和思维的载体,掌握英语的逻辑思维顺序(eg. Self assurance)(这是大家突破雅思听力考试最重要的一种准备了)

7. 关注一下常用的单词,词组,句子结构,将其转换为“条件发射”。

雅思听力大小写该在什么时候写

考生如果习惯用大写,就全部用大写,这样不会错。考生如果习惯用小写,那就需要注意几点首字母大写规则:ⅰ表格里面的内容一般要求大写;ⅱ特殊名词一般要求大写,比如时间(Sunday)地点(Church Road)人名(Peter)职位(Professor);ⅲ上下文对应位置大写的也要大写(这一点很容易忽视,考生需特别留意)。

除了雅思听力大小写问题,这里顺便说说缩写的问题。普遍承认的缩写均可使用,比如pound和dollar就建议使用缩写符号,am、pm、AD 、BC等都可以写成缩写的形式,professor 可以写成pro,但是如果有人名,需要大写成Pro. 要注意表示缩写的小点是否标上。日期的表达方式,一般只接受两种,如8th August或 August 8th,建议考生不要用其它缩写。
